We were catching up with family so we did not chat much with the staff about the beers but if we would have, they would have been very knowledgeable and talked all about it. I could taste the habanero finish and it was so unique! I made an excellent choice. We also had the stout and this was chocolatey and creamy. Delicious! Our glasses were plastic. It could be due to COVID-19. Prices were about $30 for 4 people to have one round. The staff was very warm and laid back but not too laid back that we felt uncomfortable to speak to them. I noticed when I travel to the south, I often feel like I don't want to be a burden. According to their website, they have a lot of events. They are easing back into it again after the pandemic. Next time I visit, I can't wait to listen to some live country music. They have a large space in the main seating area. If you went here you would be EXTREMELY social distanced. It seemed to be dog friendly as well (plus). I could imagine this would be a great wedding destination for a barn feel.

All of the drinks so far have been very delicious and unique. If you're not sure what to get the bartenders offer samples of the beer on tap. The location is within easy walking distance of the rest of downtown. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The large outdoor area had cornhole, firepits, and spinning chairs. It's a fun place to go with family or friends. I frequently see children of all ages there.

During the colder months they have giant propane heat lamps and propane rock gardens to keep you warm. Around Christmas they also have a giant Christmas tree that is perfect for taking photos. Their restrooms are also very clean, which is a plus.

Inside there are a few tables along with a nice lounge type area with a couple couches and TV. There are also a few bar stools at the bar area. You will also see the exposed brewhouse. The beers were all pretty solid. I had heard rave reviews and was excited to try this place. They weren't anything too extraordinary but definitely above average. I really enjoy a special release imperial stout they had of the three I tried this visit which also included an amber coffee ale and saison. The beertender was a nice dude. Chatty and friendly. This is also a dog friendly space both inside and out!

Honestly, it's one of the best beers I've ever had, absolutely perfect balance of tart and flavorful. The taproom is welcoming, very kid- and dog-friendly, and the staff were fantastic. We bought four bottles to take home, and two were gone before we even left! Living in Western North Carolina, it's a shame we can't get this locally, but we'll be dreaming about it until our next visit. Cultivation Brewery is a must-visit for any beer lover!

Physically, it's a great space to relax and drink in. The beer is high quality and the prices are reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at how little it cost to fill up my growlers. My only real complaint, is that if you're dropping by on Sunday morning, be ready to wait in line as they host a run club. I dropped by one Sunday morning to get some growlers filled and was blown away at how busy it was. And this is a good thing. I want my local brewery to be well supported. But they really could have used another bar tender. Maybe someone called out, I don't know. But they seemed woefully understaffed especially if they knew they were going to be busy. That being said, it is far from a deal breaker. I will simply adjust when I swing by to fill my growlers. It is absolutely worth your time to stop by and have a pint or two.

My husband and I both had the Cuban chicken sandwich and it was massive! A little too much sauce and I'm a sauce, girl... Nonetheless, it was delicious! We each could only eat half, that's how big that sandwich is! Beer is always awesome, I love that they switch out from time to time with new flavors. Great service and plenty of seating. Nice laid-back place. You can't go wrong here by any means!
