I'm sure he didn't even read my chart before seeing me, because what he thought was my issue had nothing to do with why I was there, neither did the testing he did. He was in a hurry, didn't even spend more then five minutes with me total. At the end of the visit, I'm still having issues, and he never came up as to why. His people skills and bed side Manor leaves much to be desired. I felt as if he didn't even hear me, I was just an inconvenience and I was just another dollar to Bill my insurance. I would never recommend this specialist to anyone.

I had an issue with my ear and they were able to see me the next day, but as a new patient with Dr. Mariotti. I was in the exam room and it was disgusting! The walls are in disrepair, there is a big promotional banner for hair plugs (in an ENT office- not sure how these 2 things are related), but what was gross was significant amount of dust on both the counter and the instrument table. I swiped my finger on the tool table and it left an impression from all the dust, which leads me to believe these tools are also unclean and not sterile! Dr. Mariotti comes in and I explain my 15 year history with my ear, he did not have my chart for review and asked several questions that he could have easily found answers to in my file. He made several negative comments about Dr. Stec, which I found unprofessional and disconcerting, given their past partnership and with whom I had a trusting relationship for many years. His remarks were off-putting. He was very sure of himself, spoke to me in a condescending manner, treated me like I don't know anything about my own history. Dr. Mariotti's negative comments about Dr. Stec, his lack of familiarity with my medical history, and his condescending manner left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not recommend this practice anymore! I would not recommend Dr. Mariotti for any consultation or any treatment!

They must all be for the other Doctor. Basically I was verbally abused by a Dr. who is impatient and completely childish. Don't waste your time going here, you will sit on ripped chairs from the 1960s and get smacked with a bill for absolutely no service. Nothing looked clean, including the instruments. Dr's ego got in the way of giving me an actual diagnoses. I truly feel bad for the people who go here regularly, they obviously don't know what great health care standards are.

They took care of my mom which is more than I can say about Lehigh Valley Hospital in Dickson city. They completely dismissed and discounted my mother's complaints and sent her home with a broken bone in her spine. Fortunately, the doctor's here took a fresh look and found this fracture and a couple other problems that had been ignored by her other primary care doctors. The ER Dr. White was amazing and had wonderful bedside manner. He actually seemed to care, how incredible is that?! Nothing like getting a full explanation on the current care and future plan for helping my mother get out of the hospital and continue on in her golden years. Everyone was great during our visit to the ER and we appreciate all the loving care my mother received here.

I think maybe she's overworked or at the end of a long career but somewhere along the line she forgot she deals with people who are about to have a life altering procedure. Long story short, she called to setup my HEART surgery and as soon as we hung up I realized I had a question about some testing that I needed done before my HEART surgery so I called right back and got her voice mail. I left a short message that I had a quick question and if she could call me back I'd appreciate it. After three days and two more messages, I called a deferent number and was able to get the answers. On the fourth day I get the long awaited call back. She started of in a short quip tone. I'm not exactly sure what her initial question/statement was but I just said "oh, thanks for calling back but I called the number on my paperwork and was able to get the answers I need. Apparently she took that as an insult and dropped the guilty person old stand by response "WELL I'M NOT JUST SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR YOU TO CALL!". YES ma'am you are. That's the line of work you chose. You provide customer service via the phone. THAT IS YOUR JOB!! She went on to scold me with how many calls she takes and how many doctors she works for. Maybe my complaint sounds petty and if this was about a food order or parts fir a car I would agree. Its not though, it's about HEART surgery.

I've been going to Mt. Pleasant my entire life and will NEVER go back again because of Dr. Giannetti.

We are not a 3rd world country, and if it takes more than a week to see your doctor, I would say that they have way too many patients in their care.
