It is just a short walk from our house (and the walk negates the custard right?) although the path goes through a couple areas with heavy traffic. The store itself is simple, there is a window to order from and then a collection of benches and tables to eat at. There aren't a ton of sitting spots, so most people were getting their desserts to go. The kids were THRILLED at the option that is "dirt" which means it has cookies and gummy worms. I had a strawberry shortcake which was amazing. I don't remember what my wife got (she didn't share), I want to say it was a gooey butter cake item. Overall all were very good and we will be back.

I understand places have policies, but a small customer service gesture would have gone a long way, especially for a first-time visit with kids. My highest concern doesn't worry much and doesn't interfere with anything about this business, which is the chairs and how squeaky they are because i worry the employees might not tolerate loud-squeaky noises. Overall, I loved going here for dessert numerous times despite every single time being the same as the last, the cheesecake and cookie dough bites are my favorite so far, and i am pleased to post my review of 4 stars.
