Let me start w/ the only thing "negative" about this place. They need more outdoor seating. Having no indoor seating and ordering from the window outdoors...don't you expect your customers to have a seat and enjoy your delicious ice cream? There, that's it. Ok...that's done. Visiting the Atlanta area recently, it was warm and after dinner I wanted some ice cream. Bruster's was a short drive from where I had dinner...and having absolutely no idea of anything local, I relied on Yelp to lead the way. Ordering was quick and first rate. I promptly received my order: a double scoop of: Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk & Southern Banana Puddin'. Both out of this world good, but the Southern Banana Puddin' was next level good. So many options. So little time. I'm back home in CA and yearning for Bruster's and that Southern Banana Puddin' ice cream. read more

Love their ice cream. It's always a bit soft so we buy pints to take home. I love the amount of flavors they have. Haven't tried a flavor I didn't like. Their holiday flavors are amazing. Not sure yet what they have for Christmas but their Thanksgiving specialty flavors were yummy. We went home with all three Pumpkin Cheesecake, Scotchy Pecan and Butter Brickle. We liked them so much we had to go back a few weeks later. Staff is friendly and gave great service. read more

Nice and efficient enough. Ice cream is the star. Only problem with this location is the lot it's in. Doesn't feel safe. High traffic and more than usual 'unsafe' feeling. Didn't realize this location was missing a drive through. Again. Professional, delicious and what you would expect from a Bruster's. Just don't expect a view or a the feel of a small town ice cream hot spot. read more

I took my friends out to this location on two occasions, in April 2020 and March 2021. Both times, the staff have been kind, quick, and courteous. In April, we showed up 20 minutes before close, and the line was reasonably long (as the ice cream is so good)! The employee who served us greeted us with an exhausted but genuine smile and took great care in serving us. Although he had obviously worked a double shift, he found time to reflect our smiles. The entire staff has this demeanor. The location is busy but the staff are in-tune with their tasks and take ice cream seriously. Overall, I will FOREVER visit this location when I'm in the area. I give honest reviews with no sugar-coating, and I'm satisfied with giving this Bruster's a gold medal. This is just one rater's story, but it made me a returning customer. Absolutely amazing service! The manager went above and beyond to explain the menu and allow me to try different flavors. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. He pointed out different flavors that he thought I would like since I was looking for some thing with peanut butter. It was quick service, and the ice cream was delicious! There were a ton of peanut butter crumbles on top and the ice cream was the perfect consistency, not too thick or soft, which I really appreciated. I would definitely be back! I've been a Bruster's customer for 20+ years! I believe that I found my favorite combination while visiting this location - Cotton candy explosion with birthday cake ice cream topped with whipped cream in a waffle cone. Amazing! Bruster's has never disappointed me. I typically get a banana split with all the trimmings. There was a line, however, service was fast and friendly. I plan on getting ice cream throughout the summer and will definitely try them again. read more

Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream. Cups, cones, shakes, sundaes, if there's a way to serve ice cream, then they have a way to serve it to you. Decent selection of about 20 or so flavors. Vanilla and chocolate and cookie dough are part of their core "always available" flavors. And then they have whatever is in season, blackberry or butter pecan or Peach and a dozen others. Drive slow. Kids tend to run around a lot when there is ice cream at stake. Not much of a seating area and nothing under cover in case there is a sudden rain storm. read more

The times I've went, the service is great and friendly; I would say to be very forward about any coupons you may have, they can often times forget if you walk off. When a hiccup in business happens, it's how you handle it that says it all! Went to pick up a preordered birthday cake. Had already paid and placed it online days ahead of time. Got there to pick it up and there was no record of it. Knowing my 14 year-old would be heart broken, the owner of this location, personally had it made within hours and drove it to my house that night in time for his birthday dinner. Who does that?!? Unbelievable customer service-top notch and will be back! The entire family loved the cake! Thank you!!! read more

This location is always crowded but the line moves fast and I can always find a place outside to sit and enjoy my ice cream. This location has plenty of parking, it's located in a shopping plaza near other restaurants and shops. They have seating areas in the front and back of this location. If you're an ice cream lover I would definitely suggest trying this place, they have an extensive menu and this is one of my favorite ice cream parlors. After the first time of politely declining, what else is needed to get my order completed? All of the ingredients were in stock so getting me to order something other than I wanted was very annoying. I had to get loud ( something I never do )just for him to understand I don't want a suggested order, I just want mine. Geesh! It's held at Taylor-Brawner Park off Atlanta Rd, which is a great location to spread out, have a mini picnic, and enjoy! The ambiance is family, community, and definitely giving summer! There's a playground for the kids, live music by local performers, and there are bathrooms with changing tables if you have littles that require them. It does get hot since this is Atlanta in the summer so prepare accordingly. The food trucks are mostly a variety yet there have been times when some of the trucks offered the same types of food (fries, tenders, burgers/sandwiches) which can be a buzz kill, so I would recommend going on the City of Smyrna government page on Facebook to see which trucks would be in attendance that day to avoid disappointment. There are some trucks that are there each Tuesday with the King of Pops being one of them. And they have vegetarian and vegan options as well. Ding ding! Most of the vendors accept cards so having a mix of cash and cards is better but not required. Again, I love it and so does my family since there's something for everyone to enjoy! There is not really any specific organized activity, but be creative. Some people had hammocks set up, balls to play kick ball with and some were just sitting or standing around talking. It's all about what you make it There were a ton of food truck options. I was overwhelmed, but did finally decided to try the Blaxican Food truck. I ordered the collard green quesadilla. The greens were seasoned with turkey meat and had a hint of spiciness to them. I enjoyed every bite of my order! I also had the infamous sesame fries from another truck. I can't recall the name of that truck, but if you see sesame fries on the menu order them. They are only $4.00 and will worth each dollar! Of course I had to have desert. I tried the praline pecan pie from the New Orleans themed truck! Oh my gosh, it is divine!!! While the customer service was wonderful and the atmosphere was pretty cool (each booth has it's own TV), our calamari was salty, and both the pizza and baked ziti lacked flavor. The baked ziti barely had sauce. It's like the chef didn't care about our food and either over seasoned (calamari) or under seasoned (pizza and baked ziti). We were told that the kitchen was closing soon and as a server I understood ordering food late is annoying, but we didn't know this (this was our first time). However, that doesn't excuse rushing preparing for the food. Very disappointing for the price. My boyfriend and I will unfortunately not be coming back.

Due to that, the inside was a little dirty with debris on the tables and counters since the staff has no time to clean with the rush. We ordered a vente black coffee, bacon and egg sandwich, tall pumpkin cream cold brew and a spinach feta and egg white wrap. It took about 15-20 minutes for us to get everything and we had to go to the counter on follow up with the staff on the cold foam drink we were finally waiting on. Other than that, the staff was welcoming and pleasant - just swamped with keeping up with all the orders. Perhaps it might be beneficial to order ahead online and show up for pickup.

Ooooooooooooh man, am I an ice cream fan! It's really hard to go wrong with ice cream, and Bruster's really just proves that! They have a very nice selection of premium ice cream flavors, that are served at the perfect temperature (not too hard and icy or too soft and soupy). The selection is similar to that of Baskin-Robbins, but I would say the quality is a step above. The prices are similar as well. I will definitely be stopping here again for another delicious dessert! read more

Have been to Bruster's several times and have never had such bad service. Came at 9:20 to get a shake and apparently you can't get one of those because it's too close to closing at 10:00. If we came 10 minutes before closing then I would get it, but 40 minutes??? LAZY!!! Left without anything and went to Steak n Shake instead. read more
