My daughter and I went to Bruster's today. She is all allergic to tree nuts. I mentioned this when ordering at the drive-through and asked them to use a clean scoop. They said of course! When they handed us her ice cream, they repeated the order back to us and then stated clean gloves and clean scoop. Well done! Good place. It's an easy turn if your headed south. A little harder to turn in or out if you're going north, depending on the time of day. The ice cream was delicious. Generous portion size, and they even made it look good with the whipped cream and sprinkles and such. As with all Bruster's, it's outdoor. A fair amount of benches and seating: maybe two tables and four benches. Staff were very friendly with me. Drive-through seemed pretty long, but it was a summer night. I ordered at window. Waited maybe two minutes to order, got my ice cream within a minute of ordering. Good stuff. Didn't knock my socks off, but was pleasant from start to finish. read more

The food is always great. The service is always fast and the ambience is a family atmosphere.

they were not accommodating to someone with celiac disease. they weren't willing to look for a gluten free menu or attempt to help find a gluten free alternative. she just stared at us through the window with attitude and made no attempt to try and help. legally these stores should have somewhere that lists their ingredients. brusters also claims that they make their ice cream fresh. so ingredients would be easy to access and gluten free items would be provided so she did not get sick. read more

We decided to reward ourselves for getting our first COVID vaccine shot with ice cream. (Really any excuse is good for ice cream!). We hadn't been to Brusters in a long time (pandemic), but decided to give it a try. Here's my mixed review. The good - the ice cream. Lots of flavor choices and each are creamy and delicious. The serving size is large and worth the price. They also gave us a free dog sundae for our puppy (who LOVED it). Ordering is outside. The staff was wearing gloves and masks. The not so good - COVID guidelines enforcement. There were a lot of customers and my husband and I were the only customers wearing a mask. There were signs stating that eating could not be done on the premises - there were lots of people hanging around eating and talking the whole time we were there. (We ate in our car.) I would have given a higher rating but right now if you are trying to help things get back to normal then plan to enforce the rules your restaurant has in place. read more

Look I know it's just ice cream...but this was the best visual! She did such a great job making my son brownie sundae and my strawberry short cake. It was just well made with the right balance of each ingredient. I almost didn't want to eat it. The thing is sometimes they add to much strawberry and sauce making the pound cake get soggy quick. I know the ice cream will eventually do that. I dont like soggy strawberry flavored pound cake. She did a great job. I ate the entire thing. It was just the right amount as far as portion size. My son enjoyed his brownie sundae. He had the right amount of ice cream and fudge drizzled on top. He said she went crazy with the whip cream. I disagree. Lol! Anyway, the staff was super friendly. Ice cream is very good! I love all the options they have. I got the waffle bowl with two scoops of the brownie ice cream. They make their waffle cones and bowls fresh so you smell the deliciousness of the cones! With it being fall, of course I had to try the Pumpkin Pie Ripple but was a little bummed when the girl told me they didn't have that flavor. She kindly suggested another one and for the life of me I can't remember the name. It was pumpkin ice cream with vanilla wafers and possibly graham crackers. So ice cream is a real treat for me. Twice this year I've gone to this location, saw what I wanted on the menu, and waited in the drive thru line to find out they were out. So I've reluctantly picked something else - repeatedly not really impressed by the choices. Tonight I sat for maybe 15-20 minutes in line to make my order - still unimpressed, but don't want to leave after waiting so long. Went with the chocolate chip cookie dough because nothing else looked any good - and how do you mess that up? Took 7 bites, and not one hint of cookie dough. Nothing. Just a sweet, creamy white concoction. Kept going. Still no cookie dough. So I pull over and start to dig around. Two bites of cookie dough in the entire cup. Yes, I said two. For what I paid for a cup of ice cream here, I could've gone to Publix for a half gallon of ice cream loaded with cookie dough. What a let down!!! Between the "meh" flavor choices, long lines, mosquitos in the woods to the right of the drive thru, and high cost - I think I'll stop coming here because it's always such a disappointment!!! read more

So I used to come here all the time but this evening when my friend and I came, the service was slow and the food was cold. It took like 3 minutes for someone to come to the window and while someone was making our apple dumplings, an employee gave me a death stare.
