Day two, the painter showed up, no extension cord, Luckly I had one. No prep was done at all, I asked, he said paint would adhere to the metal. So, he painted over the dust, rust, and bird poop. I showed him the patch the size of half a dollar bill that came off when the tape was removed (stuck better to the tape then to the metal fence), with the tape, still dusty, just took a brush to repaint. I expect anyone brushing against my fence will remove the paint. The ad said power wash, and loose rust cleaning, neither was done. I had high hopes but was very disappointed I could have done the same for $200 not $1700. I hoped for the best and got the worst. Even the paint can say to clean, wire brush, then dust the area. I feel I got only half the service that I paid for. On the plus side, I found out before I have to paint my dozen rentals.

After a phone call with the contractor, Chris voiced his concern regarding my payment(s) to the contractor for a city requirement before he could initiate the painting, essentially accusing me of failing to pay the contractor for the project. To begin with, you do not have the authority to dictate when I should pay for a service that you are not delivering. Furthermore, he was unaware that I had already completed two of the four payments for the project, and instead, he immediately took the contractor's side. Chris accused me without taking the time to verify the facts or engage in a mature dialogue about the situation, and instead insisted that I resolve this issue with the contractor. I tried to clarify that I had already made the necessary payments to the contractor and expressed my confusion at being accused of this, offering to provide proof of payments, to which Chris replied, "Okay, I'm out. Good luck." I find this behavior to be exceedingly rude and unprofessional. How ironic that they advertise Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed on their website. Business 101: Customer service should be provided before, during, and after the purchase of a service. I will certainly not be reaching out to AZ West Painting for any future projects.

We selected an elegant shade of beige with hints of yellow and green depending on how the sun is shining. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing. We truly could not be happier. Our kitchen is large and our existing custom cabinetry was solid wood that was in really good shape and would have been such a waste to just get rid of. However, I also did not want our kitchen to look hodge-podge or cheap, as our home is quite grand. Anyway, the end result is the kitchen of my dreams! The newly painted finish looks seamless, brand new, and has held up beautifully to everyday use. It gives our kitchen a refreshed and totally elegant look. I reviewed multiple painting companies on Yelp and google. I got quotes from 3 in person and PAL Painting stood out from everyone else. Their rate was actually comparable to the others but I think what stood out for me was Nevada's approach when he came to our house. He later described it as being a straight shooter and that's actually right. There's no bull -- he does what he says. He's not going to pretend in any way and honestly he was super nice and he seemed to understand everything on my plate with getting a house ready. He suggested the paint color, brand and finish and gave me a rationale why. Other companies just deferred to me (which is nice) and suggested I go to a paint shop. Honestly, I just needed a hand with things -- Nevada recognized that and just got 'er done. But he wasn't pushy and I'm certain that if I had a specific color in mind, he would have proceeded with that color. In my case, I just appreciated the help. He and his colleague Omar re-arranged schedules to get the interior areas that were most visible, ready for an open-house. They made sure the darker color was covered, did a walk through with my realtor, sent me pictures throughout the process and honestly did a phenomenal job and got everything done in a reasonable amount of time for the price they quoted.
