My husband is a big bourbon fan so he has encountered all sorts of ABC workers and many a times, for whatever reason, the Bourbon fans are just not their jam and they often times are rude to them, but not here at Shallotte. But being told "you've been out all day" instead of "welcome back" was unnecessary, inaccurate, and frankly insulting. It was an assumption presented as fact, and it was embarrassing. What made it even more absurd was watching Geneva continue to serve patrons who were clearly intoxicated while I sat there with a glass of water. So here's the takeaway: Don't go in twice in one day.
