After an episode of bad judgement, I was confronted by the harsh reality of the consequences which follow. I am a young Medical professional with a promising career ahead, but from a practical perspective... it was about to be cut very short (a DUI, 2 additional misdemeanors and potentially 2 felonies can have that effect). Being that this was my first run in with the criminal justice system and at baseline having a proclivity towards anxiety; I was crushed, hopeless, and had no idea what to do. So, I'm completely in over my head and have no idea what to expect (other than the worst-case scenario) and how to proceed, I begin franticly reading reviews for Criminal Defense Attorneys and it did not take very long to deduce that Anthony Bruno was the man to call. Now, from what I observed, most lawyers offer a "free 15-minute consultation", so I call Tony and I'm speaking 200 words a minute while hyperventilating trying to squeeze the whole story into that timeframe... he explained to me that this was not the case at Bruno law offices and gave as much time as necessary to calmly explain the situation, answered my questions with honesty and objectivity. After officially becoming his client he was able to advise me and addressed literally any and all of my concerns, he did not overpromise or try to give me a false sense of ease regarding the reality and severity of potential outcomes, but instead firmly promised me that he would fight to get me an "outcome that I can live with". I would call him very frequently with an endless supply of questions (some outright rhetorical) and hypothetical scenarios and most of the time my manner of speech had regressed to that of a child... but Tony always exhibited a truly remarkable amount of patience and made sure to answer all of my questions and keep me fully informed and in the loop about everything that was going on. It is important to mention that If not for the confidence in the fact that I have such a competent lawyer representing me and his guidance through the process, psychologically I am really not sure how I would have been able to get through this horrific period in my life. Additionally, there were a fair number of factors that were objectively not working in my favor (mainly evidence), and the first offers I was given were not exactly outcomes I could in fact live with. But Tony was very persistent and never gave up, advised me on the most appropriate course of action and continued to defend me relentlessly. AND IT WORKED. After everything was said and done, the case was resolved with an outcome I can indeed live with, I can continue my career and use this experience as a valuable learning experience and move forward. Now, I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody and strongly advise against putting oneself in a situation that can result in having to face legal repercussions. HOWEVER, if you do find yourself in such a situation, my suggestions are: 1.) Do not speak to law enforcement without consulting with your Attorney 2.) Hire Anthony Bruno to represent you because he will use his knowledge and skill to attain the best possible outcome for your situation.
