Then they brought my kid back to "only take xrays" and ended up talking to them about all kinds of treatments that they wanted to do. Cosmetic braces, tooth pulls, functional braces, palate expander, headgear. We finally got brought in and the kid was terrified at everything that was thrown at them. The doctor and an assistant crowded in the room, telling us all of the things that MUST be done and NEED to be completed immediately! Snapped at us when we questioned the timeline. Then she SHOWED US ANOTHER PATIENT'S CHART AND XRAYS!!! The HIPAA violations at this place alone should be able to put it out of business. Turned out to be a very minor issue (kale stuck under my son's gum) but still needed a professional to extricate it without damaging the gum. Fact: excellent practitioners refer to other excellent practitioners. I know other students in my son's college community who have been seen by Dr. Gheewalla, and both parent and student report being extremely pleased with both Dr. G's expertise and clinical manner. From the first visit, he took a very thorough and thoughtful approach, really taking the time to evaluate everything before making any changes. What stood out the most was how carefully he examined everything. He had me bite down multiple times, checking my teeth from different angles and paying close attention to how everything aligned. It was clear he wasn't just focused on how things looked, but also on making sure my bite and overall function were right. Every adjustment was clearly done with purpose. The level of detail made a huge difference, and the final result came out exactly how it should have from the start. If your looking for someone who is detail-oriented and takes the time to do things properly I would definitely recommend Dr. Mouhab.

She was rude, sarcastic and incompetent; i wore a bib of course, with two other assistants on either side of me. Our kids are always put at ease and really enjoy going to the dentist (the prize at the end of the visit definitely doesn't hurt)! The front desk staff is also really helpful, specifically Danijela who knows a ton about insurance and how that works. A couple of my sons teeth hadn't fully grown in, and Dr. Deepti was so good in proposing how to treat those pieces of his mouth and do his procedure with the utmost care. Most recently we also started orthodontic care with Dr. G. It's really nice to have both our pediatric dentists and orthodontists in one place. Dr. G put an expander in for our daughter and all has been smooth, as far as that goes. Dr. G said the office does both wires and brackets and invisalign for kids - I was SO happy to hear this. They checked the proposed treatment with my insurance and a week later told me how much will cost. The surprise was to learn that the endodontist who saw me originally left the group and there will be another doctor doing the root canal. It was also weird that it was my decision to do the root canal or not - so far I do not experience any pain or infection despite the fact that the pulp seems to be exposed. They do not perform PFM crowns, only all ceramic . Was surprised to learn that the crown price is the same no matter what material will be used - ceramic or zirconia. Overal a good experience but now I wonder if I should ask another doctor for a second opinion: do I need a root canal or not?

I've had my permanent retainer for 4 years before one side of my wire came popped off, which impeded my eating. I couldn't go to my orthodontist because he is based in California, so I called around to multiple orthodontic offices in Somerville and Cambridge area. Cambridge Orthodontics was able to get me an appointment within 5 days of my call, compared to other places that offered appointment slots a month out from when I called. I appreciate that they understood the urgency of my situation and tried to get me in at the earliest time possible. The visit itself was nothing short of a pleasant experience! From the staff members who aided with different parts of my procedure to Dr. Samadani's consultation, everyone thoroughly explained to me what they were doing every step of the way. Dr. Samadani was especially thoughtful in explaining the different options I had for my permanent retainer.
