I was one of the people who bought a groupon for here for the Zoom! teeth whitening. At first I was planning for nothing more than that, and figured I would ask about veneers (I had a gap in my front teeth that I wanted fixed easily). I've had this gap all my life and felt very uncomfortable about it. So the whitening went fine, and I did purchase the extra de-sensitiser for $50 and had no complaints. My teeth had whitened, & they were sore for a day or so, not for long, just some discomfort here and there, but it would disappear. Now as for my visit, I had no problem booking an appointment at all, the office manager, Amy, was super helpful with what I was to expect, and they took me in right on time. Even Amy's reminders thru email were a huge help, I mean, come on, I toss those reminders you get in the mail away and as per my phone, who answers calls anymore, let alone remembers appointments. So after the whitening, and my inquisition about veneers, I spoke with Dr. Maybury and she insisted I didn't get veneers, that invislign express would be the way to go since I had healthy teeth. Honestly, she was right, I did more research and realized that veneers were just as costly, & not as permanent. After a conversation with her as to why I'd want veneers, I told her that I plan on being engaged soon, and that I wanted a smile I loved, one that in my wedding photos, I'd truly be happy about. Hence the invisilign express. She said it would only take a few months. Perfect! Now my only issue was the price. It seemed costly for me to do, hell after student loan payments and all, anything seems costly. She & Amy worked with me on a payment plan, with no interest as long as I kept up my payment schedule. Way beyond what any other medical professional has EVER done for me. Since getting my invisilign, I've told everyone who's interested about her practice. I highly recommend her! The one thing that, to me, was apparent from the very first visit... they didn't treat me as a patient, but a person. It was a very comfortable environment and I felt like everyone there, and I do mean everyone, the hygienist, Amy, Dr. Maybury, were all very personable and professional. I never felt pressured to do anything, in fact I felt comforted with this ENTIRE office who listened to what I wanted, and worked with me to make it happen. I found Dr. Mabry through Groupons/Zoom. My current dentist was not interested in whitening my teeth and I had to wait months for an appt for whitening. He was not interested in bonding my teeth where the gums had receded, or where the enamel had started to erode on my front teeth. I think he was hoping he would get to do caps or more filling on them as they deteriorated. Dr Mabry quickly suggested the bonding when I came for my Zoom appt. She lengthed my teeth and whitened them with the bonding and filled in gaps making each tooth a little wider where I had a missing tooth to make it less noticeable. She did all this in just a few appts and now my teeth look great and I can chew better, not only that but my teeth are protected where the enamel had eroded and my gums receded. She also replaced my silver fillings so now my teeth look very nice. My other dentist wouldn't replace them and they were 40 years old! I only wish i had found her earlier as my current dentist just finished putting in three caps all with dark lines at the gum lines. He said there was nothing he could do about that when he was putting them in and now Dr. Mabry told me that it was not necessary to have the dark line at the gumline. I should have had braces as a child, but somehow avoided it and have been plagued with plaque (pun intended) and overlapping teeth. Ended up with the Invisilign, which is a wonderful approach for an adult. Because the teeth are so challenging, it required much more than the usual standard routine and supplied aligners. Dr. Mabry went the extra mile to make this work, and I am proud to say I now have a nice row of upper and lower pearly whites (yes - went for the Zoom too). I used to be dentist-agnostic (meaning, would go to a random dentist for a cleaning, perhaps near my office, etc). In many of those cases, I got competent care, but nothing further- What was different about Dr. Mabry is her overall approach to complete and comprehensive dental strategy for me, to develop a long term plan, was exceptional. Sure - everyone comments on how nice the staff or facilities are, but I can vouch that everyone from front desk (Amy) to hygienists to Dr Mabry herself, have all been personable, clearly interested in my progress, and extremely professional. I now go 45 minutes out of my way to work with Dr. Mabry- I drive past dozens of others to get to her- As I reflect on this, I am sure that is the best testimonial possible. read more

Big big fan. I had a very tight schedule, and they squeezed me in to accomodate my issues. I was cleaned and zoomed in the most professional manner I would ever want, and the charm with which these services were delivered was unparalleled. After meeting Amy, Amanda, and Ashley, I was convinced I was in an "A"lternative universe, but after meeting Dr. Monique Mabry and Kim, I recovered. Amanda, a hygienist from Oregon, was delightful and diligent in her cleaning (and sadly she needed to be since I have been remiss of late in getting cleaned), and Dr. Mabry did the full checkup thereafter. Whereas going to the dentist for anything is never high on my list, i.e. its a necessary evil, I found this experience to be almost - not quite amusement park level - "enjoyable". As I said, the service was top-notch and only exceeded by the results. I have NEVER been whiter. I sat through four (4) zoom treatments, and was constantly checked on to insure that I was comfortable. They were more than willing to cut off the treatments if I was experiencing any pain or irritation.....but this never became necessary. 5 stars for making a potentially bad experience extremely rewarding! read more

I couldn't be happier with the results and service I have received at Aesthetics in Dentistry. I was originally introduced to Dr. Mabry and her staff through a groupon for zoom. I had alot of trepidation about whitening my teeth but was put at ease from the minute I made the appointment on the phone till I walked out with my teeth being noticably whiter. Don't remember how many shades whiter but my toughest critics ,my teenage and young adult children, were very pleased with the results. During this visit because I was impressed with the professionalism and quality of work I inquired about straightening my teeth. Being an older patient I had very unique concerns that required special adaptations. These challenges were not only met but dealt with better than I could have hoped for. I am now midway through my invisalign treatment and already seeing results. Everyone I came into contact with, from Amy at the front desk to the hygienists and finally to Dr. Mabry herself performed their jobs with the ultimate professionalism, flawless bedside manner and a sincerely friendly and eager to please attitude. I went to Dr. Mabry with a good friend of mine who introduced us. In my first visit I instantly felt very welcome and very excited to go forward with invisalign. My teeth had been shifting more and more over the years and were really starting to look pretty bad. It was something that really bothered me and it was embarrassing when I could see my crooked teeth in pictures. Dr. Mabry and her team were so great to me and really made me feel very comfortable with whole process. I am nearing the end of my invisalign plan (two weeks left) and I must say that my teeth really do look fabulous. Dr. Mabry had explained to me what I should expect and how good they would look when done but I never knew or expected that they would literally be perfect! We met Dr. Mabry and her office staff through a Group On last year. I moved up to MA from NY 6 years ago and kept going back to my dentist in NY because I couldn't find someone I liked here. The Group On brought me in for a deal but it was Dr. Mabry, Amy, Amanda and everyone else in the office that has kept me going back. The things I liked about the office aside from the staff are: the reminders via email for my appointments, the flexibility in trying to accommodate my crazy schedule, getting an estimate on my treatment so there are no surprises in billing and the cleanliness and modern look and feel to the office Best of all is Dr. Mabry herself who is always punctual for her appointments and makes you feel like you're the only patient there. This is a GREAT place. Staff is SUPER, the doc makes sure you are comfortable and happy with the procedure. As everyone needs to know, it is YOUR teeth that decide the results; one cannot assume that the office staff or equipment did something wrong if you don't end up looking like one of the housewives of Orange county :-/ You always have the option of repeating the procedure, which is what i did, and continuing your upkeep at home with their gel and trays or white strips. As far as the reviewer who talked about the place being overrun, full and a factory-- ridiculous! There has never been more than one or two other people there at the same time as me. I purchased the groupon for Zoom! teeth whitening a week before my wedding. Amy did everything she could to get me in before my big day and I can't thank her and the staff enough. From the pre-appointment e-mail (which included instructions to have a cleaning beforehand and that there would be crazy sensitivity) to the post-appointment follow-up, the staff was extremely attentive and kind. I see Dr. Maybry for facial aesthetics and I highly recommend her as she provides excellent results and an office experience that puts you at ease. My previous two experiences with Botox and fillers was at a plastic surgeon's office and with both experiences, I had inconsistent results. As a dentist, Dr. Maybry has expert knowledge of your facial muscles and I can always see a noticeable improvement immediately. The whole office works as a team staying within my comfort zone of treatments to be provided and I always know the fee in advance. My husband and I have been going to her for several years and although have moved to ME we feel it's absolutely the right choice to continue to see her and her staff for our dental needs. They are more than accommodating with our schedules, which is important with our commute time. We certainly feel that the " state of the art dentistry" is worth our travels. I needed a realignment of my teeth because a front crown kept falling out - irritating and embarrassing. Even though I moved to another town, I made a point to come back to Dr. Mabry in Newton because I knew she was a personable perfectionist.
