Three of us went here after warlking around the grounds of the chateau and since we were a bit hungry, ordered something light to eat. This light snack was a croque monsieur each. This is really nothing but a grilled ham and cheese sandwich but this one was very good and came with a small salad. We also ordered some fries/frites to go along with it. The condiments were free (mayo, ketchup, etc.), which is becoming not the norm since Belgians are starting to charge anywhere from 50 to 75 cents for a blob of ketchup.
For drinks, we each had a Kasteel Blonde (beer). The beer menu had a choice of maybe a dozen. There was also wine and soft drinks on offer as well.
We sat outside since it was a nice sunny day. This is recommended, although I cannot tell you what its like inside. The waitress spoke English and was very friendly, and the service was pretty quick.
