But I'm really grateful that he sent me to a Dr. Lee who cared enough to suggest physical therapy before any injections to my spine would be administered. Dr. Lee saw me at the Battery Atlanta location. He is one of the nicest Doctors I ever met. He took the time to see me even I was an hour late for my first appointment because I got lost at the "Braves Stadium" location. Dr. Lee was very personable but professional, and attentive and he listened well what I had to say. So that's how I got to meet Kari Jacobs, PT. I have never had physical therapy before but it really has been worth the time. Kari at OrthoAtlanta, Marietta, has been amazing and helped me get rid of the sciatic pains. She is a really nice and professional lady and has worked hard to help me strengthen my muscles and my neck. Yes it was a nasty fall and could have been much much worse. First of all, Dr. would not do an adjustment without X-rays. Which was very reassuring. Plus he sent the films to a radiologist for confirmation. It took a few adjustments to get relief. I was way way out of alignment! In no time I was back to my old self! Technician gave me paperwork, but added that he had updated the forms, and he was kind and helpful! Dr. Bowerman showed me the x ray of right hip/arthritis. He recommended a steroid shot. He also showed me the x ray of my left hip, which is in good shape. He performed a hip replacement on that hip 10 years ago, and I had a good experience, so I wanted to consult him. He thinks I will need a replacement in right hip down the road. However, until then I will walk/stretch/repeat. Thanks also to his nurse and x ray girls, very kind and supportive! Dr. Bowerman gave me the shot, and was very slow and methodical, I could tell instantly that it was going to the pain. He said to give it a few days, but I can tell it is already working! When I do need the replacement, I want him to do it!

She has a great deal of knowledge and experience and it shows. Over the course of three weeks, she tracked down the problems. She used a series of dry needling treatments, stretches and different exercises to treat it. She also set me up with a routine to do at home. Her sweet demeanor and gentle voice keeps you calm and reassures you that everything will be okay in midst of the jitters and fears that typically come before an operation.
