Instead of using the 20 inch access hole, they pumped the sludge through the 6 inch port. in the past, other companies dug down to the 20 inch access port and actually cleaned the crude out of the septic tank. When I asked one of the workers of Cut Rate about this not using the large access hole, I was told the results would be the same. In my own ignorance, i accepted his answer. i will NOT be doing business with the folks in the future and I recommend that you make certain they open the large access port if you do business with them.

They could have put a camera through the line instead. They also did not clean up the mess or put grass seed down. When I called I was told the they were insulted that I wanted a refund. Paid $1500 and then had to have another company come out and do it right. The second company only charged $500. Do not use this team for a septic inspection when selling a house. They wanted to come back and charge me $3000 more to "fix" a pipe that had no problems.

The driver kept in contact with me throughout the process keeping me updated on his arrival time. I will definitely use Foutz when the time comes to have our septic pumped again! This was the first time I have ever had to get our septic pumped so I didn't know what to expect on the cost. I did dig up and uncover the septic lid and that took a bit off of the bill. All in all, I feel like the price was acceptable.

Certainly much higher than what we paid in 2018 but, like everything else, everything has increased in price. The price was worth it. LAST - I'm confused. First let me say I'm new to the septic tank sewage system. I was out in the back yard finishing…read moresome chores when I got a nose full of some sewage coming from one of the two tanks in the ground. I saw that the concrete cap was leaking fluids which is obviously not what should be happening. The very next morning I called the first septic service company on my list which was Alpha Septic. I spoke with Nathan and he said he could be at my home within a few hours. He showed up as he said he would, and within 24 hours of my call, It was back to normal with a new pump, a replaced cracked pvc pipe, and a complete pump out of my septic tank. This is a family run professional company. Nathan and Justin are prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. There is no reason for me to use anyone else for septic issues. Alpha Septic service is the company to call for honest and reliable work at a very reasonable price. Thank you Nathan and Justin!

I have been using Yelp's Project Bidding for services that I need done to my house and I would…read moreencourage you to use it as well. If you need a repair or installation of some kind, this gets you some results and communication with companies quickly. I bought a house in Rural Hall (north of Winston Salem) and it is not connected to city sewer and instead uses septic. Well since I was not made aware when the last time the septic tank was serviced and the average life is 3-5 years I thought it would be a good idea to get this done. I put in the request into the Project bidding and Yelp gave me four companies. Mountain View Septic came back with a response in less than five minutes and then another company in about ten minutes but wanted to talk about the job on the phone. After calling the other company and not hearing back from the other two I agreed to Mountain View's cost for the service. Christian gave me a good cost and had a 10% off on Yelp for first-time customers. We set up a time and I had to delay it due to a meeting I had scheduled. Christian was very flexible on the delay and showed up on time. After talking about the job for a few minutes Christian went about locating the septic tank and then once found, uncovered it and opened it up. According to Christian, the tanks were about 3/4 of the way full so I thought the timing of this service was great. I can imagine a nightmare of waking up in the middle of the night to backed-up toilets. The service was relatively quick and Christian was extremely informative about the septic tank and how it performs. I had no idea that much was involved in the process but he certainly did and it was good information to know about. If you need septic services I would highly recommend Mountain View Septic, although relatively new in the business, Christian was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible on the schedule, and reasonable on the costs.
