I called them and they said that my insurance didn't cover all their expenses. I asked why this was the first bill I've received.... They didn't have a good answer. I should have just received a bill after the first cleaning, but I didn't. The whole thing seems sketchy to me.

She caused me pain from the moment she touched me until the owner took over. She could not seem to give me the right amount of numbing medication at any of the 4 times I saw her. The crown did not fit at all and had to be remade 2 times. Even after the 2nd crown was made I had to go back 2 more times to get it adjusted by the owner. AVOID THIS PLACES AT ALL COSTS. I AM NOW TERRIFIED OF GOING TO THE DENTIST. My new dentist asked for my x-rays. The first phone call they stated they had no x-rays. The second phone call they had x-rays. They sent over 6 x-rays for which 4 of them were from another patient. I had to pay my new dentist for x-rays I didn't need because Riverview is so incompetent.

Took some X-rays and examined my cavities I had and knew I was in a crutch to get work done and was able to schedule it and get it done. The procedure was great and went by nice and smooth. After about a week or several days was in dire pain and sensitivity I pushed through it and it got better. But over the course it still hurts today with hot and cold things. Overall I'd recommend coming here for any dental procedure needed just wish they had fluoride free things to use.

I visited this office earlier this year to have a gum issue checked out. It was swollen and they…read morewere able to squeeze me in quickly. When I got there they did all the X-rays, poked the gum, and then the resulting dentist came in and looked at my mouth for less than 10 seconds. He declared that we should remove the tooth, and then declared I had 3 cavities as well. They did not tell me to do a salt wash and see if the gum irritation cleared up, nor did they say to take any medication. In my shock, I scheduled a follow up to remove the tooth and fill in my new cavities. Then I got home and did some research. I did a salt wash for two days and the swollen gum went down to normal. Then I booked a secondary opinion appt at another dentist. Once again did the whole X-ray and other checks. Not a single cavity, nor did they think the tooth should be removed. Horizon is unprofessional and took advantage of an urgent situation. I cancelled all appts and moved onto another dentist. I highly recommend you consider before moving forward on anything with them.

I moved away from the Treasure Valley in 2014, however I come home every year for a week and I make sure that I go to the dentist while I am home. Don't waste your time. I was able to get an appointment this last Monday for a cleaning. I was a…read morenew patient so I expected the appointment would take some time, but I wasn't expecting not to have my teeth cleaned. I was taken back to the chair where I received X-rays and they were discussed with me. The Dentist was very nice. Then I was transferred to the 20- something year old hygienist. I was taught how to brush my teeth, what gum to chew, why I should use a Water Pic, what electronic toothbrush I should use, what floss to use and how proper oral hygiene would help my blood pressure. I felt like I was at a presentation for a timeshare. But still no teeth cleaning. Odd for the fact I was there for over an hour and a half. Things started to get real when the hygienist informed me "when I come back for a deep cleaning", I will feel much better about my teeth. I clarified that no cleaning would occur during my visit and I was a bit shocked. I ended up leaving after an hour and fifty minutes with nothing being done. No cleaning. That was the entire reason for the appointment. This was unbelievable. I called the dentist on my way home to clarify what had occurred. The dentist essentially said it's better to not have my teeth cleaned until it's a deep cleaning. This is the exact opposite of what has occurred my entire life. Normally it's a cleaning then you're told to get a deep cleaning. At least it a start. My frustration is the Dentist/hygienist assumed that I have all the time in my life to come back at their will. I work 60 to 80 hours a week and I'm not off during their business hours. I was able to squeeze in on a Monday that was a day off for me. I made this known at the time of my appointment and during the visit itself. Apparently they don't listen. They just figure that everyone will just sit happily in the chair and go with whatever they say. They wasted my entire afternoon and nothing was accomplished.
