ABSOLUTELY the BEST !!!!!!!…read more Painted 15 years ago, age had not been kind to the weathered wood and peeling texcote paint on the exterior of my house. I obtained six bids for contractors to paint it again. I was impressed with Richard right from the start. He was very knowledgeable, so I hired him to pain one of my houses in Winnetka, CA. There are so many good things to say about Richard and his team. Where do I start? He seeks perfection. We are talking straight lines, clean lines, and the best material possible. His price includes Dunn-Edward or Sherwin William paint. You have 1,000+ color options to choose from. Because my house is frequently beaten by the 100+ degrees San Fernando Valley sun, I opted to upgrade to Life Paint's Cool life product for a lifetime warranty. The paint keeps my house cooler. It is thick, like yogurt - we are talking amazing quality. Their preparation to the house was perfection. They dug ditches around the entire perimeter, repaired a million cracks, sandblasted the exterior, sanded the windows, and replaced broken window panes (I don't need to replace them anymore!), and even cleaned up my neighbor's yard after the sandblasting job. Richard is not just a painter, he knows how to fix anything that is wrong with the exterior construction of your house, especially if it could negatively impact the painting results. He replaced multiple rotten wood beams on my back patio, the wood flashing on my side exterior door, removed the 1950's wood beams on my front porch, repaired window sill gaps, and replaced the entire wood siding on the side of my garage. He showed me where the previous painters even used Bondo to repair the rotten wood, rather than replace it. His price included the replacement of up to 20 feet of bad wood. He charged extra for the overage, at a very fair price. Truthfully, I was just happy that he knew how to repair everything and I didn't have to hire someone else. He is an absolute professional and extremely customer friendly. His team works quietly, music is kept to a minimum, they pick up their own trash, and discard your trash from the job at the end of the day. Their work area remains clean. He is present every day, supervising the workers. If something needs to be done, he jumps right in and appears to know how to do every part of the job. Speaking of customer friendly, I changed my mind about the paint colors so many times. He even repainted areas of my house just to make me happy. He was never frustrated with me, which I appreciate. As they say, a picture says a thousand words. Take a peek at the before and after pictures. The color is amazing - I'll take credit for that! However, I couldn't do it without Richard. He is an amazing consultant. He helped me to select the color, giving consideration to shaded areas and direct sun. So, I loved Richard's work so much that I have hired him to paint the inside of my house! Listen, if you are looking for a quality paint job, you need to hire Richard. He is the best. He is also trustworthy, knowledgeable, patient, professional, and fair priced. I highly recommend him!!! RICHARD, THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING NEW HOUSE!

A neighbor recommended Green Universe, and from the first call with Ozzie, I felt like we were finally in good hands. He came out personally, walked through the damage, explained what could be saved and what couldn't, and never rushed us. The rebuild took a few months, but everything was communicated clearly. They worked with our insurance, kept the house clean during construction, and rebuilt it better than before. You can tell Ozzie actually cares about his clients, not just the job. We're grateful every day we chose them and I can definitely recommend them!

It wasn't just a house being built, it felt like Ozzie was building something he cared about, too. Every detail mattered, all the challenges were handled. The crew was respectful, precise, and kind. And when the build was finally complete, we stood there looking at our new home... and we couldn't believe it was our house. It was real. And it was even better than we imagined. People like him are rare. We were beyond grateful. Very recommended. Thanks Ozzie.

Of course I was a little cautious having found them online, but my fears were relieved once I met with Rosie and then Patrick. Rosie is a very upfront and transparent person, and that's what made me and my parents feel totally comfortable with them. Anyway, they a did a two-story addition on my parents' small Crafsman style home, and moved the kitchen to a different location. As a result, my parents were able to totally upgrade the new kitchen because Rosie and Pat were able to get the high-quality materials at a discount, and passed the savings on to us! I had to do a lot of the translating for my parents and come up with the new plans, so I really appreciated Rosie's resoursefullness and patience with our sloooow decision-making process, LOL. A lot of the recommendations and improvements were accepted by my dad, who is typically really stubborn, and now he is glad he took her suggestions. We just completed the renovations/addition, so I will post the photos as soon as go down there and take them, but I will definitely use Modaa Inc for all my rental properties throughout LA County.
