AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DENTIST AWAY!…read more ONE ROTTEN REGINA SPOILED THE ENTIRE VISIT‼ Last Thursday, September 9, 2021 Had a extraction scheduled for 1:45PM, was there 30 minutes waiting just outside the door because of the global pandemic. Returned to the intake desk 2:15 to inquire about the status. I was advised that they'd taken my chart back and it shouldn't be long. Fast forward 30 additional minutes. I requested an ETA from the receptionist. she went to the back returning shortly with Regina. However, they stood behind the desk for about 5 minutes without a word. I finally approached REGINA about the tardiness of my surgery and she was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. When I mentioned I'd been here since 1:35 PM she argued me down advising that I had been there for 30 minutes, although she was NOT in the waiting area when I arrived. I also advised that my appointment was 1:45 only for her to TELL me it was 2pm, which was completely inaccurate as I called that morning to confirm. I then told her I'd checked in with the receptionist and advised her that I'd wait outside (I could see the desk from my car so literally right outside the door) as there were already 3 people in the waiting area, then 4. In response, she TOLD me that "she called my name 3 times and that she's not gone chase patients down." I reiterated that I was outside since we're in the midst of a global pandemic. Needless to say, I advised the receptionist to cancel my appointment and that I'd take my business elsewhere. Furious, I sat in my car, again literally right outside the door, and called the office manager Ilana, who was based in another location. She immediately advised that REGINA's behavior wasn't a reflection of the entire 47 member staff and advised that I could get the surgery if I still wanted. she said she'd call another dental assistant to help me. At the same time, a very professional tall black woman with curves to my car. I can't remember her name, but it begins with an A and she was a Godsend...so for the sake of this review I will gave a physical description... She said the doctor sent her to check on me and that I could get the surgery if I wanted. She kindly reduced my stress level, assured me that there would be no dental retaliation and that the surgeon would see me immediately. I trusted her and decided to complete the procedure with her by my side. The extraction was close to painless and completed within 30 minutes. After all of that, you'd think REGINA would be more conscious of her deposition, but NOPE. I inadvertently left my keys under the xray coat. The godsend dental assistant asked REGINA, who's standing right by the machine if they were there. She glanced slightly and replied NO. I gave the assistant the look as I had only been in the xray area and the extraction room. She looked for herself and my keys were sitting right there!!!! The poor service continued and she's costs the Commonwealth. Oral and Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center a customer. ONE BAD REGINA DEFINITELY SPOILED THE BUNCH!!! signed, YB

I had a consultation with Dr. Hersh today about wisdom tooth removal- and it was a great experience…read moreconsidering the circumstances. The women at the front desk just seemed very organized and be on top of everything. I had to wait just a bit in the room and someone came to let me know the doctor was slightly behind but would be with me momentarily (so they didn't leave me hanging- wondering if I was next or going to be there a lengthy time). The whole wait time was maybe 30 minutes. Dr. Hersh was kind. He explained everything and was very easy-going. He also listened to me and my thoughts and concerns. It was a quick consult- and the surgery is scheduled soon enough. I have full confidence in this doctor and feel confident with my wisdom teeth extraction coming up. I will say- the office appears a bit outdated- which did make me wonder if I could trust this practice- but the aesthetics aren't bad- and it was clean! After meeting the people- I can say- don't let the slightly outdated appearance deter you- I'll update after my surgery! I have a feeling it will be another great experience!
