It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Around hole 3 or 4 we called the ranger to ask them to have the group speed up play. Didn't happen. When we made the turn we asked the ranger to have that group speed up. He couldn't care less and did not ask them. For the amount of money you pay to play here I don't expect to play 18 holes in more than 5 hours. We will not be back and will tell anyone that asks how the course management could care less once they get your money. There are many other courses in Michigan where the management does care and those are the courses that will get our money. Thumbs down on Greystone.

I have played in numerous scrambles and also just for fun. This golf course is beautiful and challenging. If you golf for fun more than for the challenge, they have beer carts that are always around and bathrooms are more prevalent than other golf courses I have been on. I used to golf more competitively when I was on a league, but now it's strictly for fun. The clubhouse is great fun and there is a banquet center as well. This course is only 4 miles from me. I have several options that are even closer but I prefer this one. Maybe it's just comfortable? Not sure. But I love it here.

This indoor golf simulation opened in October 2023. My…read morefirst time using this simulator was on a busy Saturday afternoon in February. There are 6 simulator bays and two small putting greens. This establishment does have food available by ordering from a Hungry Howies thats located nearby. There are drinks available as well as snack items you can purchase. There isn't any beer or alcohol served here. I heard they have applied for a liquor license so that could be forthcoming. What separates this simulator is that you can track analytics for your shots using a free app you download. This gives you the ability to know how far you're hitting each club, etc. For me, this is a huge advantage as I use these indoor simulators to work on my game when the weather isn't conducive to play outdoors.

The entire clubhouse facility is gorgeous and the balcony patio was a really nice spot for mingling near the bar. That said the balcony pulled people from the dance floor with the nice weather...just an FYI. The food was pretty solid...I know the filet mignon was overcooked but it had a great beer, soy, ginger, marinade that was fantastic and the potatoes Dauphinoise were almost perfect. All in all the wedding was one of the nicest I've been to just be prepared to deal with the Wyndgate wedding coordinator...she doesn't mess around but made the day seemless.

Olivia, the coordinator we worked with, was very responsive and approachable. She worked with us to get things just the way we wanted. Here's a run down of the coolest parts: 1. The wedding party and parents got ready in the locker rooms (which are shared with club members, but not that crowded on Saturday mornings!). The men even had little name tags on lockers! 2. We were able to bring stuff the day before to set up (not always available, depending on their schedule) 3. Olivia was there for the rehearsal and for the big day. 4. We had the whole club house ground level for our wedding. Including a large dining room, dessert area with some seating/standing tables, a lounge area with couches, and a dancefloor/band area. The different rooms provided a really cool atmosphere, and people could go where they liked. Don't like loud music? Don't go in the dancefloor room! 5. I'm lactose intolerant, and the chef accommodated plus 100. All my food was dairy free, there were dairy free desserts, etc.! They also accommodated guests with shellfish allergies, gluten allergies, etc. FABULOUS. I definitely suggest looking into them. They are a bit pricy for southeast Michigan, but not the most expensive. If you're looking at a wedding of more than 150 guests and have a meaty enough budget - look them up. It runs around the $100/guest level - plus or minus depending on what you pick for food, package level, etc.
