I can't recommend this place enough. Skate sharpening seems like it's easy but it isn't. If you have questions about how they feel, turning, straight line performance, just ask. Covid caused them to take away the stuff you use to fill holes and the sand rakes. No club rental at this time either. Carts available if you call ahead. No electronic map or scoring.

I had seen the Royal Park Hotel before but never been in - the lobby is gorgeous as well, and a front desk staffer directed me to the conservatory, which is directly behind it. I've also heard they have a nice restaurant on site, so I'm hoping to come back and experience that, at some point. All of the catered food at the conservatory was tasty, as well - we had appetizers, salad, and I had an herb chicken dish, I believe. Waitstaff was very courteous and when I went up to the bar to get a Diet Coke, they asked how everything was tasting, etc., even though I wasn't the hostess of the party; nice customer service. My engaged friend said that they originally looked at Royal Park as a wedding venue, but unfortunately the conservatory wasn't large enough for their number of guests - I'm glad they had their engagement dinner there, so I got to experience it. There were about 30 guests there last night but the space looked like it could fit more, I would guess 40-50 total, easily, and possibly even more. Based on this experience, I'd love to come back to the hotel either to dine or to stay overnight.
