I had an appointment today 05/20/2020 and my next appointment isn't until August 12! That is a long time in between visits. I realize that I have quite a bit of work that needs done, but having that much time it could give one a motive for not showing up....too much time to think about it. This is a great dental office and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! I do wish that the scheduling gaps can be tightened up considerably. All of the dentists but Dr. Covert have left. The front staff is less that pleasant. My last appointment, the hygienist scheduled my next appointment and wrote it down on an appointment card. I checked out with the front desk and left. Today was the day for my next visit. However, I arrived at 0658 for a 0700 appointment. Doors were not unlocked until 0715. When I tried to check in they asked my name, assumed it was my daughter checking in. When I said no, the reply was too many people with that name.... Then I was informed that I did not have an appointment. The receptionist said that I could wait until 0800 to see.....I stopped her and said no, I think I'll just go to work. She replied "I haven't raised my voice to you". I stopped her again with-"I haven't raised my voice, yet either." "I am simply stating that if there is no appointment in the system for me on this or any other day then I'm not waiting." I left. I am now looking for a new dentist office. This one has ran off every helpful person that used to work here. I give them another 6 months before they close their doors. One elderly (but nice) dentist and a sadly incompetent front desk staff that thinks just because you talk loud, you are yelling at them. I've been going to this dentist since I moved here in 2022. This is the first time that someone thought I was yelling at them.....If I did yell at her, I'm pretty confident she would know the difference. I think that either the hygienist quit and deleted all the appointments or the receptionist deleted them after the hygienist quit. Either way, if they really wanted to stay in business, they would have contacted the patients and let them know that there are no hygienist available and/or to have appointments rescheduled. Neither of which happened. No phone call or text to verify the appointment either. I guess that should have been my first clue that they failed to schedule or reschedule the appointment I reported had received written down on a card from their office by the hygienist. A waste of an hour of my time. But at least I changed my timecard at work so I didn't lose the full 4 hours I had previously allotted for the 'un'appointment.

I've been in and out of this place a few times within a month because they found out one of my fillings was leaking. So I know my review is pretty accurate of how patients are treated. Front desk staff are good. They can be a little more welcoming in my opinion. One day they are smiling, the next -- not so much. So it's a hit or Miss for them. They're still great ladies! The first time I came, Danielle, the dental hygienist, did my cleaning and she was great! I loved her personality and she was educating me on some things about the teeth and how to read the X-ray. She even sent me a welcome card to my home and thanked me for trusting them with my care. That's the best gesture I ever received from any healthcare office!! I made sure my next cleaning is with her. That's how much I like her! Dr. Kim Morgan is my dentist and she is so kind and very knowledgeable. She explains everything that she does. When she re-did my filling, she made sure I was okays throughout the whole process. She shares her knowledge with me to make sure I have a better understanding of what's going on. She truly rocks! I was told it would not be a problem. This was one of my main reasons for choosing the the treatment plan I did. Now, that her braces have been removed and we were given her new retainer, we have been told it must be removed any time she eats. I'm not one to typically write bad reviews but I feel particularly taken advantage of. I believe Dr. Mancini told me what I wanted to hear to get our money. After thousands of dollars paid upfront, I was brushed off and told our previous conversations about goals for my daughter's orthodontic care never happened. I am so disappointed and was offered no compensation or other options.

When I'm there I am always asked by the dr how my husband and kids are (he even refers to them by their names, remembers what my husband does for work etc). It's nice to be somewhere you are remembered. They are all great with the kids too. Today at my daughters cleaning (she's 3), Jessica made a couple comments about how great she does, especially for being 3. I would love to give all the credit to my daughter but I honestly think that the staff has made it a fun, not scary place for her and my older children too.
