Dr. Gaitros extracted my wisdom teeth in 2015 and it was a wonderful experience overall. He was professional but also personal at the same time. He sensed my personality and joked about anything and everything to ensure that I was comfortable. I had dry socket about a week after surgery and he saw me right away and made sure my pain was under control. Well fast forward to August 2017 and my current dentist referred me to Dr. Bufalini who used to work with Dr. Gaitros so I decided to give him a chance. Boy, was that a bad idea. He was unprofessional, impatient, and very rude. He barely touched my mouth and by the time my appointment was over I was in so much pain that I couldn't barely breathe because I was crying that bad. That appointment was just a consult by the way. He just smiled and said "feel better," and I don't know how he let me leave like that. I'm not saying he should've prescribed pain medicine or anything but he could've done something! It was literally the worst pain of my life and it was pretty much crippling. Well, I went ahead and stuck with him for my extractions considering I had already paid for the surgery and even at the time of surgery he couldn't care less about helping me. Now I need 2 more extractions and my dentist tried referring me to Dr. Bufalini again but I refused and specifically asked for Dr. Gaitros. I'm happy and honestly grateful to be able to go back to him again. Keep up the good work, Dr. Gaitros! read more
