I was scheduled to meet Carolina cucco at noon. The office called me and asked if I could come in earlier. I complied only to wait in the waiting area for at least 15 minutes. The egos in this office are palpable! Upon going to have a cbct x-ray taken the office technician proceeded to argue with me about my gag reflex. And insisted that she knew more about me than I did. Upon taking my blood pressure it had skyrocketed! Wonder why? My meeting with Carolina was worse. The condescending manner in which I was addressed further exacerbated my stress! She recommended that my tooth be extracted. She was not willing to examine any other options! Even with that being the case, she was not going to be the person that would pull the tooth but she sat there just insisting that I listen and obey her edict! I will seek another endodontist that is more experienced and knowledgeable! Someone that will try to alleviate my concerns and show empathy and compassion.

Due to a failed root canal and going everywhere to find help, my husband came up this office and Dr. Katelynn who put him on the right path and he finally got help. He hates the dentist as much as me so when he raved about this one I had to listen. I have severe dental phobia!! I feel like so many people do. So it felt great to meet a dentist who was caring, compassionate and sensitive to that. She was reassuring and talked to me throughout, after asking if that is what I wanted her to do. However, from our interactions here, Redwood doesn't seem to have as large of a presence in this office thankfully. He was rushed for time, but answered my questions thoroughly. He also took care to make sure my fillings were done right and made sure my bite was good. All the dental assistants I had were exceptional as well, very caring and professional. Without exception this is the best dentists office I'm aware of. I've had bad experiences with dentists (mainly in the military), and I've disliked and feared them for years. He got me very numb and made sure I didn't feel any discomfort during the procedure or even the injections themselves. He was also very understanding of my anxiety, even asking what he could do to help put me at ease. The hygienist was very professional and gentle. The office itself is clean, nicely lit, and noticeably lacks that signature "hospital" smell, which I love. There is a Keurig and they offer tea, coffee, and water. They also have kids toy's and magazines available. Office staff are very helpful and friendly as well. They got me booked for a same day emergency appointment, and I was even offered an earlier time when they had a cancellation. Overall I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone with anxiety or a full blown dental phobia like me!
