I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Eddie! Before I found him, my…read moreexperience with another CPA was a complete nightmare--many things were done incorrectly, leaving me to fix them myself. I was kept in the dark, received little to no response, was given inaccurate information, and encountered several mistakes. It was incredibly stressful. I'm so grateful to have found Eddie. He is professional, responsive, and reliable--qualities that are extremely important to me. He answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly, and took the time to educate me on many aspects of managing an S-corp. I always felt informed and never forgotten. He stayed on top of payment schedules and got things done quickly and efficiently. I never felt lost or unsure throughout the process. Eddie is also very detail-oriented. He discovered a major oversight from the previous CPA--something I wasn't even aware of--and helped me correct it step by step. I was initially overwhelmed and stressed, but Eddie was patient, understanding, and even available during off-hours to guide me through it. Thanks to his help, everything on the business and accounting end has been corrected, and I finally feel like I'm on the right track. The accounting software he uses is also very efficient and allows me to upload everything in a well-organized manner. When dealing with so many numbers and accounts, that level of organization is a huge plus. I fully trust Eddie and highly recommend his services!

And when I needed help correcting the return, he was totally MIA. I knew I had to find someone new who is trustworthy and reliable. Fortunately, I was referred to Eddie by a friend and have been very pleased with his services so far. I find Eddie to be very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a quote before working on my return and stuck by his quote even though my return was a little more complicated than expected. He also looked at my previous return and identified the errors and omissions made by my previous accountant. Eddie is also very responsive and tech-forward. Most of our interactions have been via email but he makes himself available on the phone as well. He also provided me with tips for my next return so I could get a bigger refund. Thank you, Eddie!

Ed is the best there is. Plain and simple. He's the kind of tax guru you go to when you've had it…read morewith the people who promise you HUGE returns and then simply turn around and get you audited the next 2 years... What sets Ed apart is his AMAZING work ethic (he will get back to you on a Saturday night with questions, even out-of-season), he'll prepare everything for you in a flash and usually can squeeze in a face-to-face when you need it, he'll be there for you via phone to answer any and all questions regarding letters, deductions, etc... and of course, he's a full-fledged CPA, not some kid or old lady that decided to quit her dayjob to become a real estate agent / "tax preparer" - he's the real deal. He handles a ton of my friends' business accounts and taxes and has been truly amazing to me from the get-go, and this is why I return to Ed, year after year, since I was introduced to him by my friend Patrick. You can pay a tiny bit less and get your taxes done by a walk-in place and miss a ton of cash or you can go to a shady tax preparer who doesn't really know what red flags to look for or in my case, tried to write off lottery tickets one year (I wish I was kidding)... ORRRRR you can come to Ed at Simons Accountancy Corp... get it done right. Have that peace of mind. Keep your money in your pockets and in your bank account. For me, it's a peace of mind and professionalism thing, plus of course the access he provides his clients. He's never missed once and for this I am truly grateful - can't recommend enough!

Like many people, I am confused and scared by the thought of doing my taxes, sending in my taxes…read moreand being audited by the IRS. I am not confident in my math skills and am convinced I will do something wrong on my tax return. Finally, I have found a tax accountant who makes the process easy, painless and fear-free. Ed Simons walked me through my profit and loss sheet with kindness, confidence and sound knowledge of his craft. He made me feel in control, and for once I didn't feel like a total idiot about how I kept my records or my lack of understanding of the process. Simons Accountancy prepared my return in record time, and even sent them off online for me--no waiting in the post office lines for me! Even though I had a tax payment due, I was very pleased with the entire process. And the fees are incredibly reasonable. But the icing on the cake was the extra step that Ed and his company took for me. Many tax people had mentioned that I should be sending an amount of money to the IRS against next year's taxes, but never took the time to explain why or how. Not only did Ed explain why I should do it, but also when I received my tax return, there were also four envelopes addressed and filled out for me. This way I can easily send next year's payments to the IRS and maybe even get some money back next year. Never before have I received this kind of service from a tax accountant! If you want a tax accountant that goes beyond competence and crunching numbers, that provides exemplary service and results, then Ed Simons is the man to call. I can't recommend him enough. I know I won't use anyone else in future!
