This was my first time having my brows done, and Piper made them look fantastic! I'm thrilled to have an eyebrow arch now, and will absolutely be coming back. Great conversation, beautiful salon, and quick too! read more

I absolutely adore Piper! I've been going to her for about 3 years now and she never disappoints. Piper is knowledgeable, professional, and hilarious all of which make getting waxed a heck of a lot easier. She has honest and genuine relationships with a lot of her clients, which is a testament to her personality. The service is always speedy and efficient. She recommends products if they are needed or desired and never hits you with a whole sales pitch as is the case at places I've been in the past. She books up pretty fast so be sure to get your appointment early! read more

Not just brow wax, brow ART. Piper truly masters the art of an arched, natural brow. I have never been one to care too much about my eye brows, because I was (thankfully) blessed with brows that tend to stay under control without too much tweezing. However, I had never had my brows "shaped" before. So, I googled some places around Nashville, and since Piper had great reviews and she was a block from my house, I decided to try it. It only took 1 visit to turn me into a regular. I never even KNEW about brown tinting, and although I have naturally dark eyebrows, I still do the tinting about once a month. It looks SO GOOD! I even coerced my boyfriend into going to get his eyebrows done, and although reluctant, he ended up enjoying it. Very relaxing environment. Parking in the front is tricky sometimes since it's next door to the Bluebird. But there is extra parking in the back! The pricing is definitely good. I would expect her services to be more expensive! read more

Piper is great. I've been to her once...it was a little hard to find, as I don't spend lots of time in Green Hills, and the parking seriously stunk...but, once in the building, it's a cute little place. First of all, Piper was easy to reach and very accommodating with the schedule...and, when I was a little late, she was very understanding. It was just she and I there, in her little space, so it's easy to be comfortable there...considering what I was there for. Yep, I was there for the full monty...a Brazilian wax. Plus, afterwards, a brow wax. I'm taking a star off simply because I thought the type of wax was a bit more uncomfortable than the method that had been used on me in the past (somewhere else) - sugar. I definitely prefer the sugar! Much easier to tolerate. She shaped my brows well, and suggested a brow tint...I LOVED that. No one had ever told me about a brow tint before! I have light colored, scraggly eyebrows that don't look like they make a full arch on their own. Needless to say, my brows need all the help they can get! So, I was very pleased with what she did with my brows...and am left to wonder why NO ONE in all my years of brow waxing ever suggested it to me. Thank you, Piper, for opening a whole new world to me! hehe All in all, quite pleased with Piper. :-) read more

Let me start off by saying that Piper does amazing eyebrows. The reason for the two star review is that she is by far the flakiest service provider I have ever used. I've been seeing her off and on for the past three years. It has mostly been "off" because she will, without notice, shut down her books and is nowhere to be found for months at a time. She will all of a sudden reappear after a number of months at a different location. She has not only just closed the books without notification in the past, but has also cancelled MANY scheduled appointments with me either without notifying me at all (i'd find out by logging in and would see the appointment was gone) or she would email me same day saying she is unable to work. More often she would just cancel it and not even bother to reach out. Now I realize that she has had some childcare issues and a difficult pregnancy, but that doesn't excuse the lack of customer service over and over and over again (and this has been ongoing for years). It seems as though she is getting a reputation around town for this because my new esthitician had heard the same thing from a number of other new clients. It is just so incredibly disrespectful of a client as well as their time in general to conduct business this way. If you're ok with this type of business acumen, then she definitely knows how to do brows. As for me, I'm just totally fed up with it and won't be back. Response to reply below: Piper's claims that I no-showed are 100% untrue and are aimed at discrediting my review. Her personal attack toward me further evidences her lack of professionalism. read more

I have been a client of Pipers for nearly 3 years. Prior to using her service I had searched high and low for a great 'Eyebrow Artist' because let's be honest ladies, that's what she is. I have not come across anyone that can shape a brow the way that Piper does. Her ability to shape brows is amazing. I can say without hesitation that she's the best at what she does and you won't find anyone in the Nashville area that can hold a candle to her work. As a loyal client, she's always been there for me when I've needed her! read more

CLOSED? I have left multiple voice messages and a text at the published phone number and no one replies. It appears this business is closed. Terribly disappointed, because her reviews look amazing. read more

My sister went to Wax By Piper & said how fabulous Piper was. She made an appointment for me to get my eyebrows waxed & tinted. It was the most comfortable, relaxing eyebrow waxing I've ever experienced! When I looked in the mirror after she was done, I couldn't believe it. I had an arch in my eyebrow for the first time & the tint completely matched & complemented my hair color. I was so pleased & got NUMEROUS compliments on them. I'm an unfussy, middle-aged woman who found that I was growing my Portuguese Uncle Frank's crazy eyebrows on my face. With trepidation I went to get them "fixed". I found Piper on Yelp and consider her one of my top 5 Yelp finds ever. I had no idea what a difference a browscaping could make. We figured out just the right color to tint my brows and when have a lip wax she takes extra care with my sensitive Rosacea skin. Her products are top quality. She's a delightful woman who always has soothing music in the background. I look forward to my regular visits and leave looking and feeling far better than when I walked in. She's a gem. I confidently recommend her to you. read more

This is long over due. I've only been to Piper once, but she was fantastic. Will definitely schedule something again in the future!

Fantastic service! Very attentive, friendly and an expert with brows. Definitely coming back.

I have been seeing Wax by Piper since 2011. I do not trust anyone else with my brows. I do not live in Nashville anymore but will drive in just so she can do my brows. I am also getting married in 3 weeks and wanted no one else except her doing my brows. She transforms them into celebrity brows. She is so talented at what she does and she truly takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. This is her passion and she takes it seriously. You will not be disappointed if you go see Wax by Piper. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! read more

Piper is amazing! She did my first Brazilian wax and she's so laid back and fun/easy to talk to, that you totally forget why you're actually there. She's quick, makes it relatively painless, and efficient! I actually look forward to my monthly visit to see Piper. She's a genuine person and makes you feel at ease. Her new place is absolutely adorable with it's chic design. I highly recommend going to see her as quickly as possible! You won't regret it! read more

Today was my second visit to Piper for brows. She's the best! If you're looking for a great experience with fabulous results, so see Piper.

I made an appointment with Piper while I was in town for work. I was amazed at how fantastic my brows looked after Piper was finished with them. It was hands down the best brow wax/shaping I've ever received. read more

Piper is amaaaazing! Today was my first time going and my eyebrows looked phenomenal! They look exactly alike which is crazy because no other salon has ever done that. They're either too thin or one is thicker than the other or they're not nicely arched. But Piper didn't do any of these, instead she made them look amazing! The arch is a smooth arch and it fits my face shape just right. She even left my eyebrows looking thick which I loved. Piper is also so cool and funny! It was not awkward at all since she knows how to hold a conversation and be funny. I will never go anywhere else. Piper is the best. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 13....so for 5 years now about once a month. I love my eyebrows thicker, fuller, and with a good arch. I have maybe successfully gotten this once or twice. I usually end up with flat, sparse, and super thin eyebrows. I've tried many different places. I recently just moved to Nashville from California...so I was scared to find a new place to get my brows done. Hands down Piper is the BEST place I have ever been to. I got a wax and tint. I came in with about a month of growth. The last time I got it waxes they were horrible. Piper fixed what I had AND made them look fuller/thicker than before with an amazing arch. The tint really made the difference. Being a college student its a little pricey for me 35+tip. However I do think it is worth it. Piper is so personable, and really makes sure she discusses what you are looking for. She also takes her time to perfect them. I will be returning for sure!! read more
