Having been to the Browns in Bristol, when i found out there was one nearer to home I jumped at the chance to try it out. I was not disappointed. Located in The Hub of MK centre, the area was buzzing. Having gone to have a pre-theatre meal on a wednesday i didn't really expect it to be that busy.
A Bar/Brassierie, the atmosphere of the restaurant was prefect. We sat in one of the booths available and ordered two cocktails straight away (cocktails were on offer for £3.95 each Monday - Wednesdays), sipping away and soaking up the atmosphere while pondering our meal for the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel relaxed and welcomed.
The food was brilliant, there was a range of dishes to choose from and the portions were just right. The scallops we had for starters were cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable too, for two courses and 2 cocktails each for 2 of us came to approx £55.
What really complemented the evening perfectly was a live performance by a pianist. Wonderful drinks, delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, plus live performance...Browns has really impressed us, and I will definately be going back there again. Soon. read more
