I drove 45 minutes with both of my dogs, only to be told when I arrived that there was no appointment on record. I had important concerns I'd been waiting to address and was simply turned away. This is the second time a scheduling error like this has happened. Between busy schedules and the cost of gas, this kind of mistake isn't just frustrating--it's completely unacceptable. We never disputed a charge and always kept our account paid and up to date. We had an injured donkey that literally couldn't walk and Dr. Brown came out that day and told us that she just had a bruised heel. It seemed odd for how much pain she seemed to be in but we believed her and put her on bute and contained her in a small area as she suggested. A few days later we called her out again because there had been no improvement and she said it was because our farrier had not trimmed her feet often enough. We knew this was not correct because we just had her trimmed and the injury was very sudden. We just tried to do our best and keep her contained and on pain medication. They next week we were on vacation a couple of weeks in Japan and the barn manager called them out. Dr. Brown did over $600.00 worth of X-rays without calling us to authorize and still did not diagnose her. When we returned our farrier came out and told us she had two bowed tendons. He is familiar with Dr. Carter and was so shocked that Dr. Brown had not known that immediately the day it happened he said he would call personally to help us dispute the X-ray charge. We have attempted six times to speak with Dr. Brown or Dr. Carter regarding this and they refuse to contact us. We received a notice from a collection company for the $600 00 bill instead. Dr. Brown misdiagnosed two other horses at the barn at which we boarded; one was a simple thrush issue that she padded the bill to over $1,000 and another was a tooth surgery where she damaged an eye during the surgery and billed to remedy the mistake she made into the thousands. This was also price gouging a different non-profit. It's sad to think they would lose a loyal client for over ten years over a $600 mistake that they are responsible for.

I brought my friend and companion to get groomed. He was really matter on his paws. He won't let anyone touch them. He's a rescue and has high anxiety. For that reason he is out under anesthesia during the groom. I dropped him off and when I came back to pick him up and it seems that the person who brought him to me after it had been a while of me waiting was hesitant because he had been cut and he was bleeding so he needed a antibiotic topical and had to wear one of the cone hats. I thought about this before I called to complain I feel like he was injured there and that they should be responsible for paying the paying for the antibiotic and The cone hat I'm not asking for my money back for the groom I understand that accidents happen I'm not trying to fuss at anyone in particular I just think it would be a good gesture seeing as how he was hurt there that they could bill for the cone hat in the top of the antibiotic. So I spoke with office manager and she was out when this happened she was on vacation I spoke with her and she said she would get back to me a few times and she didn't I felt like I was being brushed off and my little puppy is my love he's my little companion it means a lot to me that he was hurt there and I am upset about it but they should be upset about it too I mean it happened there the doctor looked at it thought it required anti-biotic ointment topical and the hat. But when I spoke with the office manager and she said she had spoke with the doctor and the others that had something to do with what happened to Anakin they suggested that he had a cyst that had I guess ruptured while they were trimming him at no time during the afternoon where I picked him up did the doctor or the lady who brought him out to me say anything about there being a cyst he said he accidentally got cut he's been bleeding and oozing and he has to wear the hat so that he can't lick his foot I was really upset but I didn't act out I went home and thought about it and obviously manager was back in on Wednesday and Friday I spoke with her after she had spoke with her staff and she said that basically it was Anakin's foot that was the problem and that the doctor had said he had a cyst remember and they never said that word to me when I picked him up so I am on a rant and I feel like I have not been fairly treated of course my my dog fairly treated at this point he had to wear the cone hat and it stretched both sides of his neck as it has even wearing it.
