I now need to get eye check-up etc...I went into My Eye Dr expecting problem to be taken care off due to obvious defective/poor quality control. (see photo; glasses in perfect condition - no scratches or sign of wear and tear). I was told that there is only a 1 year guarantee; however, no where on the invoice does it say so (getting the run around here?). I was offered a 50% discount to relace glasses due to defects caused by the manufacture. Now does that seem fair to you????????I will discuss problem with my insurance company so they are informed and to get advise on finding an Eye Dr that is reputable.

It had been years since I was there, and even then, I had only been once every two years or so. It was really nice to be put at ease with a courteous, personal and kind staff. The paperwork was just one double sided piece of paper, the wait was short and the exam itself moved quickly. My eyes aren't very bad at all, and so maybe other's experience will be different, but in under 30 minutes I was in and out with new contacts and an updated prescription. Also, the team there is 100% honest. Each procedure was clearly explained to me, and the fees associated with things my insurance would not cover was discussed before getting any work done. So not like they don't tell you lies honest, but they genuinely took the time to explain each procedure and not up-charge me just because I'm ignorant to the medical world of eyes. I typically go the cheap Chinese direct glasses (because I break a pair every 3 months or so) - but when I had them in the past, I was able to get my glasses that same day. I'm sure depending on your prescription and frame choice - that's not always going to be the case, but they are on top of their stuff, and as quickly as it can be done - it is. Anyways - I would never think to go anywhere else to have my eyes checked out as I actually look forward to the friendly staff here.

To date, I have still not received a clear, transparent explanation of what services were allegedly provided, why they were not explained in advance, or why this continues to be billed as something other than a preventive visit. My previous attempts to get clarification were met with dismissiveness rather than accountability or patient-centered communication. Receiving. Just moved to the area and decided to go with doctor Robillard. As the other post on this…read morePage says, the building and everything in it is severely outdated...early 70's out dated. The patient's chair and the equipment are that ugly 1970's green color. The chairs in the waiting room all had hair and other questionable "stuff" on them. However, the care you receive here will be likely better than anywhere else. I could see that Doctor Robillard only had 7 patients scheduled for the entire day. Most doctors will try to cram 7 in 1 hour which causes you to have high wait times and make you feel rushed. I never felt this wait. The doctor spent so much time explaining all of my questions and come to find out I've had too high of a prescription the past 4 years! He dropped My prescription and it has changed my life...no more headaches or needing to close my eyes every 30 min. I feel he was able to come to this conclusion by not rushing me out the door and he took the time to actually listen to me as his patient...which IS THE CARE WE SHOULD ALL GET AT ANY DOCTORS OFFICE. Sadly it is hard to find doctors like this anymore. Will definitely be going back.

I had a disappointing experience during a routine contact lens exam at Windham Family Eye Care…read more When I arrived, the front desk staff member told me she was locked out of the office computer system and could not log in to access insurance information. She even showed me the screen and explained that she couldn't access the insurance portals. I also observed multiple usernames and passwords written on sticky notes attached to the monitor. Because of this, the office could not verify my insurance benefits through Davis Vision. Despite not knowing my copay or contact lens allowance, I was told I needed to pay something and ended up purchasing a box of contacts for $85 out of pocket. A few weeks later I received a voicemail saying my contacts were ready and that I also owed $125 for the contact lens exam, which had not been disclosed during the visit. When I called to ask about it, I was told my contact lens allowance had already been used simply because the office billed the exam. This was frustrating because I had already paid for contacts out of pocket specifically because the office could not verify my insurance. After raising concerns, the exam fee was eventually waived, but only after a lengthy discussion. Overall the experience involved significant disorganization, lack of insurance verification, and unclear communication about fees and insurance benefits.
