Wait time minimal. Appointment time respected. Service writers Do Not greet customers in the service lane. Multi-point inspection Is Not started with a customer walk-around in the service lane. Quoted estimates for services were accurate.
The customer is left to find their own way to Customer Lounge. There are vague signs and arrows pointing the way but you must circumnavigate to a waiting area on your own.
No Saturday service period...adverse to industry standards.
Service Manager was within the service office yet Did Not acknowledge or welcome/thank customers checking in for service...totally ignored customers.
A senior sales associate welcomed me in the customer waiting area...only because we know each other. Many employees, including the General Manager, ignored greeting customers in the waiting area.
Wifi and customer waiting area were adequate.
Service writer was courteous and friendly BUT was dressed in greasy, disheveled jeans and no uniform or name tag whatsoever.
Services were performed in adequate time, however, technician dirty shoes and greasy/dirty hand marks were left throughout the interior of the car. Industry standard paper floor mats, steering wheel covers, and latex technician gloves were Not used.
Engine fluids Were Not topped off as promised yet marked as completed on the multi-point inspection. Oil change was performed BUT questionable whether tire rotation (paid for) was done? Owner had to top off fluids upon returning home and inspecting services performed. Wheel cover marks had Not changed whatsoever from vehicle turn in to vehicle return. Tire air pressure Was Not set to proper specifications.
Walk around inspection of the vehicle was not conducted. A damaged windshield Was Not annotated upon acceptance of the vehicle for service. The vehicle was returned with shop scrapes and nominal paint scuffs to right front passenger door.
The vehicle Was Not washed and vacuumed, delivered cleaner than accepted, which is now an industry standard. A battery check readout slip was not provided to the customer.
Overall, if you live in Del Rio and own a Nissan you are slave to this inferior service standard. Brown is the only Nissan game in town...but owners deserve a better overall customer experience.
There is CONSIDERABLE room for improvement in the Brown Nissan Service Department.
I was asked first if I bought my vehicle from Brown Nissan? I asked in return what that had to do with honoring a national Nissan new car warranty service? I speculate there are different qualities of service provided dependent on whether or not you bought your Nissan at Brown.
