Dr. Brown is a USC school of dentistry graduate and he and his staff work so well together. All is explained in detail before, during, and after work is done. There are TVs in each room, that helped ease my anxiety a bit, and let's not forget the gentle motion massage chairs. I don't know of any other office that will place generous balm on your lips during a long procedure so your lips don't dry out. Exceptional. read more

Love Dr. Brown and everyone at this office. Juanita is always kind and accommodating. Dr. Brown does great work. I've never had a complaint on any of the work they've done for me. (Ugh - I'm a frequent customer.) They have lots of nice perks, too! Massage chairs, t.v.s. They use a nice lip balm on you when you're having work done. I've been a patient of Dr. Brown's since he took over Dr. Wilcox practice many years ago. The thing I love about Dr. Brown and all of his staff is how caring and HONEST they are. I recently went in to get some fillings replaced and the steps that Dr. Brown and his staff have made to make sure everyone is safe during this pandemic really gave me peace of mind. Only one person is allowed in the waiting room at a time. They take your temperature as soon as you walk in. They have hand sanitizer and air purifier fans in the waiting room and in each of the patient rooms. So happy I finally found a great dentist. I haven't been to one in awhile because I couldn't stand the downey dental place anymore. I went there for years when I was younger. This dentist is a private office,so it could be hard sometimes getting an appt if you work fulltime, but if you have a flexible schedule you'll be fine. The office is decorated really cute and the front staff is friendly. Juanita always answers the phone and has a good memory because she remembers me when I call. Once you're in the dentist chair, you don't want to leave. It has a massage built in the back like they do when you get your nails done. It really does relax you when your having a cleaning or procedure. Would definitely recommend. They have really good chocolates as well when you walk out. read more

I am not a fan of the dentist, but your smile is so important!... I have feared them since I was a child. Dr. Brown, and his amazing staff make the entire dentist experience easy and stress free. From their comfy seating area, to the nice desk lady, and my hygenest, I am comfortable the entire time. They also have massage chairs and TV... not needed, but a serious perk. Dr. Brown is wonderful!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and gentle dentist. I have the biggest fear of dentists since I was a child and have avoided going to the dentist for the past 5 years. I ended up needing to get a lot of dental work done (3 filings and a crown). I have been a patient of Dr. Brown's since I was child. He is THE BEST!! I use to see him less frequently than I do now. However since I've had children my teeth have changed and my visits are much more frequent. Going from having no cavities ever to multiple cavities and 3 root canals to date was a big change. Dr. Brown and his staff have been understanding, honest, and helpful through my multiple dentist trips and work being done. I have a beautiful smile and it is attributed entirely to him! I recently had to take my child to a different dentist to have a tooth pulled. A family member saw this dentist for a cleaning and walked out with 1500 dollars worth of charges for a "treatment plan" and pictures of their teeth. This would never happen with Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown is very considerate of his patients, so kind, and he and the entire staff are patient, especially with the TMJ that I suffer from. They all make you feel so important. I'm not a big fan about going to the dentist but I knew I had to because my tooth was cracked and I would need a crown. This was my first time with Dr Brown and I was pleasantly surprised that I walked out of there with a smile. The office was clean and comfortable. The staff is so nice and friendly. My main fear is the shot due to a bad experience as a small child. I literally couldn't even feel him giving me the shot. They got to work on my tooth and Dr Brown and his assistant worked together like a well oiled machine. Seeing them working so well together made me feel so much more relaxed. Dr Brown constantly checked on my comfort level and explained everything that was going on. It was the best dental experience I have ever had. My husband and I are FORMER patients of Dr. Brown. I thought we were getting good care, but found there were issues with extensive work that I had done and after experiencing an appalling lack of concern for my husband during a dental emergency. This office does not use an exchange service, nor provide a backup dentist for patients in case of an emergency. My husband recently had a dental emergency and after several calls, several voice messages, a message left with the person who answered his cell, we were informed that Dr. Brown was on vacation. We were promised that a prescription would be phoned in to our pharmacy. We contacted our pharmacy several times over the next couple of hours only to be told that they NEVER received a call from Dr. Brown! After this delay, we contacted my husband's physician to get a prescription for pain medication. They immediately contacted our pharmacy, filled the prescription and we picked it up. After hours of suffering in severe pain, my husband finally had relief, thanks to his physician. At the initial consultation with my new dentist, I was told my bite was one of the worst he has ever seen! He performed a complete occlusal adjustment and I could immediately feel the difference. My bite was not properly adjusted after several crowns were put in and had been causing me discomfort. This dentist was surprised that I did not experience more pain, based on the condition of my bite. I had to pay several hundred dollars to have this situation corrected, something that should have been part of the ongoing work performed by Dr. Brown. I am disappointed to find out that we were not receiving the care we expected, deserved and had paid for. read more

Had a great experience with Dr Brown and his staff. I took my mom who has an autoimmune disease which has caused her mouth to shrink. This makes it difficult to open wide. Dr. Brown was very understanding, patient, and gentle. He didn't try to rush her or seem frustrated like other dentist have. I am truly happy with the service. Final update -- Out of the blue, nearly a month after my dental emergency, I received a phone call from Dr. Brown himself. He apparently read my review(s) on Yelp, so he was calling to apologize. I had not heard from his office since my emergency and he mentioned facts only noted in my previous Yelp reviews. This was an obvious attempt at damage control, not sincere concern for a patient. His excuse was that he was on vacation with this kids, which is completely irrelevant. Apparently, he does feel the need to invest in an exchange service to handle emergency situations and referrals when he is unavailable. This is completely unacceptable. Good riddance! read more

Dentistry at it's best!! I've been lucky enough to be a patient of Dr. Brown's for several years now. Not only is he great at what he does but he's very friendly and professional. I like the fact that he explains in detail his diagnosis and is not pushy at all about treatment. You never leave his office feeling like you didn't ask enough questions. His staff is top notch! You are always greeted with a smile and awesome attitude. Most people dread the dentist and do not keep up with their 6 month check up! It's not often that your kids or YOU walk out of a dentist's office feeling happy and content. My kids can't stop talking about how nice Dr Brown is or how he talks to them with such respect after they have an appointment with him. The same goes for me as an adult as his patient. It's a great experience overall. Raina and Juanita go out of their way to accommodate our schedules, the hygienists are all so personable and competent and Dr Brown always takes the time to sit and go over what concerns he might have and the importance of it all. I've experienced that he only recommends procedures that he believes are necessary and if he does have a concern, he has the most gentle manner when working from filling cavities to capping teeth in our cases. The office is so peaceful and affords the comforts of home when having procedures done.
