While she was doing my root canal, she made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in on me. I didn't feel a thing while she worked on me! I had a root canal at another office about a year ago, and it was painful because the dentist was rough. But this doctor took her time and ensured everything was perfect. The temporary crown was great, and the permanent one was done flawlessly--I couldn't even feel it when I closed my mouth. She's truly an incredible doctor, and I'll keep coming back to this office as long as they accept my insurance. The staff was also fantastic and attentive. I give them a 10 out of 10!

***SUPER QUESTIONABLE LOCATION***…read more The receptionists are disorganized and not attentive. I called and explained my situation in detail. The woman on the phone acknowledged it and even clarified something about it -- then asked for my info. After that, she suddenly asked, 'So what can we help you with?' as if I hadn't just spent half the conversation explaining it. Her excuse? She had to pull up my account first. So basically, she admitted she didn't hear a word I said, even though I was in pain and clear as day. She didn't get the gist at all and had a hard time just getting my name down -- even when I spelled it, gave examples like 'S as in Sam' nothing helped. Even like that she kept coming up with different last names. Listening issues are common via phone, but this was a lack of Attention and presence. If they can't get pull your account, why bother here? If the front desk can't follow simple info or tone, it makes the whole place feel questionable. Avoid this place.

I stopped by to get x-rays and have my teeth exam and I was getting ready to hear a lot of bad news. Knowing that I had not visited the dentist in about 8 to 10 years I knew that there would be work that would be needed to be completed.. The dentist was very helpful with letting me know the severity of it, but at the same time showed optimism and made me feel comfortable. Not only are we looking into the repairment of my tooth but also he explained to me the things that would be needed to be done in order to restore my teeth. I had plaque built up and my gums were very swollen with numbers high as fives and six which is not great and he explained to me that it would take a few appointments of deep cleaning and laser treatment in order to restore them. The appointments that I've had with them have been painless, and they have always made me feel comfortable while visiting them. This really helped me overcome my fear of visiting in the dentist and I actually do look forward to seeing them for my next appointment. Thank you Downey family dental, Dr. Nguy and the rest of the team for not only making it a seamless and positive experience, but truly helping me get my teeth restored!
