The Debutants were amazing. They had everyone tapping their toes, clapping their hands, and nodding their heads to their lively tunes.

Arsenic and Old Lace was very well done. I was most impressed. They do a great job with organization at the Brown County Playhouse. Thank you read more

We saw Arsenic and Old Lace and it was amazing! Hard to believe that this great little theater is all volunteer staff. The productions are always top notch and the staff is always so nice. read more

We enjoyed the Rusty Bladon " an "evening of Neil Young". This was the best show we have seen at this venue. As always the playhouse staff are welcoming and so nice . It is very clean . Overall a great experience. read more

Jenn Cristy show Simply the Best was fabulous! Singers were excellent-band was superb and of course Jenn is always fantastic! The vocals however were a little out of sink--hard to hear the words in most of the songs. Never experienced that in any of the other shows before. The camera man was a bit distracting because he walked from side to side filming during the entire show. Other than that I'd recommend Jenn Cristy and her band any day! They're awesome! read more

We attended Justin Wells with Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders show at the playhouse. We were greeted and promptly taken care of upon arrival. The venue is laid out well and easy to get around. Kudos to the sound technicians as well. Will definitely attend another event there. read more

This was my first visit to the venue and I was impressed. It's a charming venue that is bigger than I would've expected from the outside. Seats are in a stadium like setting, so all patrons will have a good view. And the staff is friendly and helpful. I would have no issue returning here if there was another show I wanted to see. read more

Amazing small community theater - yet fully talented productions! Restored by volunteers and donations for over 75 years of dedicated dreams. Super price values! Super close-up seating. read more

Such a great place. All the shows are amazing! Easy to book and easy to enter! Always a great time! Highly recommend!

My wife and I attended the Def Leggend show and had a great time. The venue was great because it is smaller, making the experience much better. The acoustics were great and the staff was very accommodating. I would strongly recommend if you are interested in attending anything in this venue. Do it. You can't beat the venue or the price. read more

Some great shows in a very atmospheric setting. The introductions could be a bit more professional, and the sound system needs work, but otherwise a great experience. read more

Great concert. Sean of the South. great venue. intimate and quirky. just like a community theatre should be! Sean was astonishingly talented and gave an energetic show. read more

First time! Was an amazing venue. Saw Sean Of the South. Equally amazing. All seats are great

Wonderful concert, listening to WRO! My favorite place to listen to music. Glad to see concerts sold out! read more

Seating is good, no bad seats. Small up close venue. Prices are high for tickets, compared to quality of productions I have seen there. The latest was terrible Dracula a Comedy of Terrors. I have seen better production from High School theater groups. I will not go into details. Left before intermission, just could not stomach it any longer. Targeted for 14+. Very inappropriate for anyone under adult. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

4 stars BECAUSE I HATE GENERAL ADMISSION!!!! Nobody likes it!!! It is unnecessary!!! If there is a cost in assigned seats then tack on the $1.00 fee!!! It was 90° and very humid. We got there 1 hour early and we're still standing in line a block away. I had no idea a membership was available or I would have purchased it. Make info about membership AND how to get reserved seat obvious to ticket purchases. Thanks ( really should be 1 star but it is a great place) DOORS WERE FANTASTIC!!! GREAT MUSICIANS!!! read more

Great venue! Intimate, quality sound, incredible staff and they are volunteers! Comfy seats and not an obstructed view in the room.

Excellent show and as always most friendly, helpful demeanor by the Playhouse staff. REH

Henry Lee was great! We went in honor of my mother that passed away in January. She loved Henry Lee . She was such a huge fan. He was nice enough to sign a cd for me to put with her memorabilia. The Brown County Playhouse was a great venue and there wasn't a bad seat there. read more

Arrived from out of town on Friday to see the Chris Collins event and due to no power it was cancelled. Rather than offering a refund the establishment sent out a mass email and said everyone would be booked for a make up show which was now planned for the following month on a weekday; if you didn't want to attend you had to contact them by a specific date. I emailed and then followed up with a call but they are closed only open some days of the week. Patrons should have been refunded and secondly for as many shows/events they sell, a generator would have paid for itself. read more

I went to see one of my favorite bands The Ultimate Doors (best tribute band to the Doors)! It's a first come, first seat theater and you can't get a bad seat there but was in the first row! The view was perfect, the stage wasn't too high, the sound was great, the staff was very friendly and all the people that attended were really fun and loved the Ultimate Doors music also! I would recommend this venue to see any show and also would suggest they have this band back sooner than later!! read more

We have enjoyed coming to concerts here for a few years now. We have seen several tribute bands and all have been excellent. Pricing typically $23 per person- pretty cheap entertainment for a 2 hour show. Theatre style seats with lots of legroom. Highly recommended! read more

This little gem is one of the best kept secrets in Brown County. We have been to several events there and it never disappoints. The playhouse is a smaller venue and there is truly not a bad seat in the house. I highly recommend going and checking it out for yourself. There are many great places around the playhouse within easy walking distance to eat or do some shopping. Prices on the events are very reasonable as well. read more

A bit surprising when you walk in. The front facade makes it seem small but when you get inside, it's huge. We saw Heywood Banks here on a Saturday night. Yeah toast! Staff was friendly and it seemed organized considering how many Toast Heads were there...it was nearly full. Turned out to be a nice and 'toasty' evening. (that is a lot funnier if you know who Heywood Banks is) read more
