I tried to file a formal complaint, but the "executive director" states "there isn't one in place". From my experience this is a prime example of poor leadership. I decided to support a member of the chamber and use their services to promote my Credit Repair business. After working with her for three weeks, It was apparent she did not know what she was doing. I told her I was unsatisfied and wanted a refund. She denied my request. Unfortunately, she took my money and did not fulfill the requirements of the agreed contract. After, I evaluated her progress and decided to fire Julie Fishmann of Creative Consulting LLC. I do not recommend her to be hired to do any digital marketing. Comes to find out she has no experience in digital marketing. After further research, she is only known for her connections to Tamarac, not digital marketing. Comes to find out she was being dishonest. Julie stated she would introduce my business to local Veteran owned organizations, being that I am a veteran. She never mentioned my business to anyone, she has no contact list or other proof of her work. She had not even correspond with people she added on LinkedIn. She was hired to build relationships and grow connects specifically for my business on LinkedIn. After three weeks, she only managed to max out my friend invites. Not one person was engaged on her behalf for my business on Linkedin. I was so displeased with her services I reported her immediately. Even though I reported the issue to the Executive Director he had very little interest. His only concern was to keep me from exposing the illegitimate business practices being allowed in this chamber. Poor organizations have poor leaders.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell it might take a while, but I was determined to get it done. There were multiple people behind the counter, but only one person was actively helping customers at a time. Initially, a woman was assisting, and then a man took over. By that point, there were about seven people in front of me. When I finally reached the counter, I had a few questions since I do not ship items often. I thought my label was already printed, but it actually needed to be written out. I was told to go back to the end of the line. Thankfully, the line was much shorter the second time, so it did not take too long. However, when I returned to the counter, the employee assisting me was rude, which was disappointing. I also noticed the employees being rude to one another while working. I understand that disagreements happen, but it did not feel professional to handle them that way in front of customers. Overall, it was not the worst experience, but it definitely could have been better.

However, I think that many government services and employees do not get the appreciation they deserve for the thankless work that they do. So by saying that I had a great experience at this DMV is not to say that there wasn't a line or a significant amount of waiting involved. But when you look at the number of clients that are being served daily, it may put it into a better perspective. I had an appointment and was there for almost 2 hours, but the lines were continuously moving and customers were always being attended to. Staff did their best to process individuals in an efficient and effective manner. This location conducted driving tests, licensing for private and commercial vehicles, renewal and replacement of licenses, electronic testing, and visual and hearing tests. So it's understandable that there may be lines from time to time. I would especially like to commend Tricia -Mae P and Lillette W for injecting humor and levity into what I'm sure is a pretty monotonous, tiring, and non-stop job. If you need to have any of the above mentioned services performed and are in the Sunrise area, this DMV location will take good care of you. But I highly recommend that you make an appointment and remember to bring all the items listed on the website.

After picking up the dvd from the hold section, I walked around and chose a few more movies to watch. I wish I could borrow some cds, but my vehicle is not equipped with a cd player. Oh how I miss those good old days. Venturing to other Broward County libraries are interesting. Despite the world's shift toward digitalization, it is appreciated that the libraries are still offering their resources to the community.

This is the closest library to home and we have come here for nearly two decades. They have made great strides at keeping it clean inside and out. The books (including a Spanish language collection), reading materials and DVD selection is well organized. In addition to the 100-seat room for meetings, they have a computer room for adults with space for a couple dozen people. Years ago, I spent many hours there and it was quiet enough that you could flow in your thoughts to write. Moreover, they've added computers so more children can work on iReady and play educational games. There isn't a time I've walked in here that there aren't a number of tutors helping children and adults alike. The staff is helpful and there is a guard who assists them, which is an added bonus in the afternoons when the students from the nearby Middle/High School start coming in. In addition to the parking spaces in the front (facing Commercial Blvd.), there is parking in the side and rear of the lake that divides the library from the Tamarac Community Center.
