Nightmare experience with this company. They are not knowledgeable about plants at all and…read morerecommended me a ton of invasive plants that I had no clue of until 4-8 months later I was able to realize the catastrophic damage they have caused. I trusted them and asked for their recommendation and support to plant low maintenance succulents that won't involve much effort. The list of what they did wrong has mounted as time as passed. Majority of the plants that they installed are off shooting and budding in all different areas around the yard. Popping up everywhere lifting the black netting under the rocks. They have a root system that is invasive and they planted plants so close together without realizing how they will overgrow each other. They planted plants who offshoot inches to multiple feet away from where the plant is and start growing in another location halfway across my yard. They planted plants that grow way too large for the space they gave them and they planted plants so close together that once they grew, they quadrupled in size at this point, and now they are on top of each other. They planted plants that offshoot off each other and multiply at the route, causing them to look horrendous and grow out of proportion and springing up all over the yard. They caused such damage with their negligence it's insane! It is going to cost me a fortune to remedy this and I have to do it now before it gets out of control and my whole yard has to be dug out. They also did not properly treat the ground and they did not properly lay the right underlayment properly and missed many areas. They also did not properly pull out and remove former plants at the root so now old plants are growing underneath the new plants. I reached out and sent them half a dozen videos of what happened showing them the incompetence of the recommendations that were made and articles showing that these plants are not recommended at all in the settings they did for me and the damage they already have caused. They are the specialist, you don't go to a doctor and tell the doctor what to do, you trust that that is their job and they know their plants and make recommendations based on your needs and the HOA being manicured. They charged me a bloody fortune thousands and thousands of dollars that now I have an invasive mess in my yard that is going to cost even more to remedy and remove the root systems of these invasive plans they should never have planted. These plants are even growing under my slab and literally many feet away from their original plant. I know that they did not properly treat the ground for weeds because when I had asked them if they could help with resodding my backyard and help address the weeds as part of the job they gave me a different protocol for that which I realized they didn't do it all to the front yard. My yard looks like an out of control jungle. It took me four hours this past weekend to remove a lot of the offshoots. I hurt my back and could not move for days. I even have text messages where I specifically shared what I needed for these plants to encompass, and what they recommended grew to not be that. I gave them the opportunity to fix this and they did not respond back to me. I would caution you to take their advice, they are not real landscaping professionals that actually know their plants and care about their customers outcome after they get their money.

My front yard garden needed a complete redesign because I worked with different gardeners…read morethroughout many years, to add and remove plants, bushes, and trees. This left my front yard looking unbalanced and disjointed and frankly, uninviting. To achieve a cohesive and well planned garden, I met with several area gardeners to get comparable quotes and ideas, some who have been in the business for 15+ years. But when I described that I was interested in achieving a more breezy and romantic looking garden, which meant that many plants and bushes that are commonly seen in Florida gardens could not be used, I got a lot of push back and most strongly recommended that I keep existing bushes and hedges that I believed were keeping me from achieving one aesthetic. Then I met with Andrew and Brian of Happy Trees. Andrew is not only a landscape designer, but he listened to, and met all my objectives, which were many including creating a garden that did not attract bees or butterflies, or include anything poisonous, or any item that couldn't be touched with a bare hand (thus no spiky plants or trees). Andrew directed the design and introduced me to plants that blow in the breeze, have unique flowers, and are beautiful and colorful additions to my front yard garden. When you hire Happy Trees, you get Andrew and Brian to work directly with you through the entire process--everything from planning the job, communicating ideas and next steps, and actually doing the planting on site. While they are still a young company, they are smart, gracious and dependable and I believe will do everything they can to enhance your environment and meet your specific landscaping goals.
