This is such a charming place. My husband and I stumbled upon it while on vacation. The food appeared to be standard pub fare, but we didn't try it. The beer was delightful. I hope it's not just a passing fad, but I just love that craft beer is having a moment. There's nothing better than good beer and having diverse kinds of good brews in new cities is a really fun way to explore! The atmosphere is cozy and relatively quiet, which is often a hard find when you're talking bars and pubs. When we arrived there was a dude there with a drawing pad just sketching. It was really relaxing and nice after a long day of walking and touring, and nice to get away from the typical tourist scene and hubbub. We had a couple of cloudy wheat beers and were really impressed. I think Poland is newer to the beer scene, but even this beer snob was happy with what we got. We tried a second beer and got something dark. We weren't as happy with it as we were the cloudy wheat, but it was also just nice to see the variety of options available. If I lived here, I would come back to try all the new seasonals. read more

We spotted this brewpub after touring St Mary's church, and decided it would be a good choice for lunch. We weren't disappointed. The beer (brewed here, a true micro-brew) was really quite good. The food was OK. Not great. The menu doesn't seem very much like a brew pub really. We had an unremarkable pasta carbonara and an inoffensive salad with grilled chicken pieces. I did get the impression they haven't been open very long, so possibly the menu will change. with some interesting sounding Polish beer snacks & finger food -- we might have hung around for a couple rounds! read more

Stopped by after climbing St. Mary's- we were thirsty! Food looked good, but we were more focused more on the beers which were okay. Again, I think Poland is starting to embrace the craft style beers, so while I think they will be great once they get the hang of the brewing process it's still new. That being said- we both had 2 pints of 2 different beers, so we weren't disappointed. I would be interested in going back to see how they're doing, and even grab lunch!! read more
