For main course I had the duck. All i can say is OMG. Not to mention that my 1.5 year old daughter loved it too! My wife had the warm goat cheese salad and duck pierogis. The pierogis were excellent. Duck was very well seasoned and juicy and the dough was on point . We were to full to really enjoy the salad but from the couple of bites that we had it too was delicious. It wasn't anything special but just what you'd expect from a salad with huge piece of goat cheese on top It's a 15 min walk from the old town (St Mary's church). I think it only has the 1 review because it's out of the way and most tourists get trapped by the abundance of restaurants in the old town. I hope it's not just a passing fad, but I just love that craft beer is having a moment. There's nothing better than good beer and having diverse kinds of good brews in new cities is a really fun way to explore! The atmosphere is cozy and relatively quiet, which is often a hard find when you're talking bars and pubs. When we arrived there was a dude there with a drawing pad just sketching. It was really relaxing and nice after a long day of walking and touring, and nice to get away from the typical tourist scene and hubbub. We had a couple of cloudy wheat beers and were really impressed. I think Poland is newer to the beer scene, but even this beer snob was happy with what we got. We tried a second beer and got something dark. We weren't as happy with it as we were the cloudy wheat, but it was also just nice to see the variety of options available. If I lived here, I would come back to try all the new seasonals.

It's a cozy and very colorful place, with wonderful aromas and old world charm. The service is, well, decidedly European - you can't be in a rush when you get here, and being all "American" about it won't get your food on the table any faster. I've been living in Spain for eight years now and I find table service to be quite a bit slower than in the US. Then again, they aren't chasing you out of the restaurant when you finish eating, either - they give you plenty of time to just chat with your mates and enjoy another round. As for the pierogi?
