Was extremely happy with this doctor. Staff was great too. I would have to think most doctors want to operate in order to make more money. This doctor was the completely the opposite, and with his advice and physical therapy i was able to recover from my accident without the need of surgery. He took the time to explain matters and I did receive a couple cortisone shots and PRP treatments during my 2 year period I was under his care. He has a gentle hand too when injecting those therapeutics. Not sure why such bad reviews, but when you have to wait an hour to see a great doctor, what the difference when you have to wait an hour to eat at great restaurant... get over it people. So I call this place up to see if it is OK to take my son with me. They say it is Ok but just to be aware there may be at least 1 hour wait. I say in that case can I just come one hour after. They say no because you have to complete paperwork.I say then why don't I come 45 minutes after my time, paperwork should not take more than 15 minutes and they still say no. The receptionist was really rude on the phone. I told them this is not how you should treat your customers and they hung up on me! Well I had to go in anyway, but wait end up being only 30 minutes, so why make such a big deal and tell people you have to wait an hour? it doesn't make sense. Possibly the worst healthcare experience I ever had... I was referred to this doctor by my attorney. I was in a car accident transported to the emergency room and then diagnosed with a grade to spondylolisthesis with bilateral pars defect. That means my back is broken my spine was slipping out of position and I was really screwed up. After waiting in his waiting room for at least an hour once I got into the exam room he gave me maybe a total of 20 seconds of his time. You see, he did not care about my broken back and the unbelievable pain I was in. He did not care because it was not an injury caused by the accident and he had a lien on the case. He literally didn't give a shit and within 20 seconds was out the door leaving me completely alone and hopeless. I eventually made my way to the Cedars spine center where I had Dr. J. Patrick Johnson perform a spinal fusion procedure on my spine. Oh one more thing... I tried giving my medical insurance information to his office but they refused it. They wanted nothing to do with my insurance. All they cared about was having a lien on the lawsuit. Do you know what he charged for that 20 seconds he was in the exam room with me? $1500. Then when the case didn't settle fast and I for him they sent me to collections for it. Well, they picked the wrong guy to screw with because I happen to know how these things work and so I wrote a couple letters and poof the son of a bitch disappeared. Funny how they can try to jerk you around and I'm sure they've done this 2000 people. Well they picked the wrong guy this time. This doctor is truly an a hole. read more

Literally the worst doctor ever. The staff is friendly but the doctor is horrible. He tries to push his own agenda on you (injections). If you don't want it he does not give you any alternative. I was skeptical on seeing this doctor from seeing previous reviews, I do not usually do reviews but felt the need to because my experience was the complete opposite. The staff was very nice and professional, which was nice to see people still smiling under COVID PANDEMIC. I came in to see the doctor for shoulder pain. Actually the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of looking in the eye. I saw him a year ago after a car accident. I had a slipped disc and he handed me a paper of beginner level stretches and told me the pain was all in my head. He began to raise his voice and insult me, basically saying I was faking the pain. Dr. Broukhim is one of the most unethical people I have met. He has no scruples whatsover. He performs a number of unnecessary surgeries on his own workers compensation payments and then proceeds to deny surgeries and medications as a utilization reviewer for other workers compensation claimants. The majority of his referrals come from workers compensation attorneys, whose clients he often keeps off of work for years. What a scumbag! read more

DR. BROUKHIM PREFROMED SURGERY ON MY TORN MINISCUS two years ago. The surgery def. helped but here two years later, I chose to return to Dr. Broukhim because I have been in so much back and knee pain that I cant get up and go to work. I waited a whole week to see him, even though I stated I could not move from my bed. When i seen Dr, the first thing he asked me (with an attitude) was: WHO REFERRED YOU BACK HERE? YOUR ATTORNEY? and I said yes, and he rolled his eyes. I should have red the blatantly obvious signs and left then, but I didn't. I stayed another hour or so for an Xray ( to my knowledge, my condition wouldnt even show up on an xray, but definitely an MRI) I am sitting in the Patient room for like 20 minutes and Dr. comes in, Sarah, get dressed and come here. I get dressed and come outside, all my xrays are up and he is frantically putting them down, telling me everything fine, good to see you... BUT WAIT A MINUTE DR. CAN I ask you a qeustion? How did the Xray turn out? Dr. says to me: oh not too bad. And just does NOT TOO BAD MEAN TO YOU?? I CANT EVEN GET UP TO GO TO WORK AND YOU DONT EVEN WANT TO SPEND 5 MINUTES DISCUSSING OPTIONS WITH ME OR MY CONDITION, JUST WANTS TO RUN ME OUT,BUT I AM SORRY I CAME HERE FOR A REASON,!!!
