Business takes weekend calls, techs set-up follow-up for repair during the week and then customer has to find out they never scheduled it. Office tells customers they cannot help that the techs cannot schedule appointments and incorrectly advise customers they can, but they can send a tech to fix after hours. Clearly intent on after hours charges. Scam for sure. Terribly rude "office manager" (Megan). Details: Saturday call for leak in the wall (pipes were exposed and ready to be evaluated). The interaction was brief with a clear action plan decided upon with technician. Discussed technician's schedule and scheduled for them to return on Wednesday (9/9/26). Mid-morning tried calling technician to verify exact or rough estimate they will be at the house; as our drywall is opened-up and water heater disconnected/removed and ready for the hot water line to be replaced. No response from tech and told by office we are not on technician's schedule, but they can try to fit us in after hours. Wife called back to speak with manager and got Megan who did not introduce themself as an office manager when the office manager was requested up-front. Then, she said well...I am an office manager. Explained issue clearly and was put on hold. Megan returned to the line and gave a long-winded excuse about short-staffing, and recited the husband called and did not want to take the after hours option. Megan put the issue back on us and said the technician does not have access to their schedule and that we caused this issue. The customer had to suggest the first solution they should have given; after hours service today charged at the standard business hours rate, due to their error in not training technicians on their inability to schedule appointments. Megan should not be in charge of a phone let alone customer service issues. She proceeded to make it seem as though they were doing everything they could on their side of the phone (the typical lacking-customer-skills act for the boss listening). Very poor communication, does not understand how to make an issue right. Brother's Plumbing is looking to charge after hours fees by hook or by crook. Rude once, rude twice, rude three times then taken advantage of while they had our backs to the wall. Wanted to test our private well's water before sale of our house. Called to inquire about sample collection containers, as friends who had already done this said we could get them through Brothers. Since we wanted to do it ourselves, it apparently didn't go over well that they wouldn't get the $150 initial service fee and then the hourly for collecting water samples. I had to make 3 trips there due to being given wrong sample bottles. Each time when entering their "lobby" with minimum of 3 employees present, I was ignored then quickly dismissed like a nuisance. All testing came back negative for bacteria, nitrates and arsenic. Then came well inspection for the actual home sale. Brothers inspected the well for us 7 years ago when we purchased this home. We had great water pressures then, still did up to sales' inspection and had no problems with our well ever through those 7 years. Plumber informs Buyers' realtor that he "ran out of water...hit bedrock...there was no water pressure." The only resolution per Brothers was to install a 400 gallon water reservoir tank with pump. When asked what would have caused this on that day, we were told "Earthquakes" and "Drought". Not once from well inspection through installation of reservoir tank did we lose water pressure or water - a period of over a week. Brothers arrived at 0910 a.m. to begin installation and called us at 11:45 a.m. to say tank was installed but would be filling very slowly over the next two to three days due to the lack of water. We stopped by their office to pay our $6,562.07 bill for this "service". My husband took it in to see if the staff would be kinder to him. He was shocked at being ignored, dismissed and no expression of gratitude. We arrived home at 12:30 p.m. that same day and were shocked to discover the 400 gallon reservoir tank was full! We were had: we wanted to sell and they had the power. read more

A special pump had to be ordered, which meant no water for three homes - the following day, they showed up and installed a loaner unit until ours arrived. For the amount of time, parts and labor their fee was reasonable. They are definitely our "call first" plumber! read more

Plumbing was backed up on the weekend of course, when my regular plumber was closed. The answering service said someone would call back within the hour. Two hours later I called back. Another hour passed and I finally got a call back from the answering service that she could get someone out that day at time and a half. I declined that and requested a early Monday morning appointment. She said she could do that. Monday I called the company to verify, and of course the snippy voiced person who answered the phone said she had no record of my appointment and that the answering service wasn't authorized to book. I asked if she could work me in. In the same horrible tone of voice she said no they were all booked up. I don't care if I have to pay another company double - I would never use this company after this experience. read more

A incorrectly sealed splice in a pipe installed by Brother's Plumbing developed a major leak. The manager, "Tom" (he declines to share his last name)., refused to take responsibility for the poor workmanship. I called Jamie Parrish Plumbing and they sent someone who resolved the problem in less than an hour with a correct application of sealant. I called Brother's Plumbing when my sink backed up. Marvin was the young man they sent out the next day to assist. He was extremely thorough in clearing the drain and went so far as to inspect my main line where it emptied into the septic to be sure everything was flowing properly. When I asked him about installing a new sink, he was helpful in recommending what type I should investigate. He did offer me a stainless that he had on hand, but when I declined the double tub and opted for a single, he made recommendations. Then he offered to come out the following day which was a Saturday to install it. He was professional, well mannered, cheerful and a pleasure to have in my home. We had a clogged sewer line at the property. The guy who operated the phone at their office was rude and unprofessional. The plumber who did the line clearing was also unprofessional. They told us that they would not put the toilet They had pulled because of water damage to the floor below it. Nor would they look under the house to check the sub floor to see if they could put it back. An old man had to crawl under the house first before the guy went under the house to look and pull the clean out plug to work on the clog from a different angle. That was the only toilet in the house and we ha e 2 kids. I told him he couldn't just leave kids without a toilet and he got upset. If you use Brothers Plumbing, beware of the rudeness and unproffessionalism that several of their employees have. read more

Beware, beware, beware!! I called Brother's Plumbing to get an estimate to hook up the plumbing for a bathroom sink. I told the woman I had the vanity and sink already installed and I only need the water lines and faucet hooked up. She told they don't give any estimates over the phone until they actually see the work and what needs to be done. Brother's Plumbing showed up 1.5 hrs. late, worked a total of 45 minutes hooking up pee trap and water line and then charged me $312.62! When I asked the plumber about the bill, he explained they charged more if you buy your own parts. He said, "you know, everyone now a days is buying stuff on Amazon and Home Depot." I reluctantly paid bill after telling him if they wanted to be in the parts business they should open a parts business. I called Brother's Plumbing a couple hours later and was told they already knew about my complaint and agreed "it was a little excessive" and it was passed onto the owner. After telling the woman on the phone I would never do business with them and would do all I can to let people know how bad they were, she all of a sudden had the authority to lower my bill. She told me they would rip up my check and send me a new bill for just a service charge plus parts around $165.00. I received a bill for $214.32. The crew I had were rude and potentially con artists. We were experiencing water pressure issues with our well, so we called Brothers Plumbing. From the moment they arrived, Wes said that we probably had a pump problem - without even looking! They proceeded to change the pump capacitors without asking for my permission or providing a quote. That failed to resolve the issue, and he continued to insist that we needed a new pump and new piping, which would cost several thousand dollars. I declined, and they charged me $700 for essentially doing nothing. Moreover, they left a mess: They damaged the plants around the well pump, did not replace the well pump house and left it scattered around the garden, left the main house water valve partially shut off, and turned off the whole house water filtration valves. I also have reasons to believe they pretended to change a whole-house water filter but left the old one in place. The whole experience felt like a setup to worsen my problem and convince me that a pump replacement was necessary. I called another company the next day, and they fixed my problem (a faulty main valve and a dirty filter) in one hour for $200. read more

We had a plumber from this company come out and diagnose our problem. It was an easy drain repair. He said he needed to order a part and it would just be a few days to get back out. A week went By and I called and was told the technician would get back to me, and nothing. I called again and the technician never got back to me. Our water heater went out & as it's a Heat Pump Water Heater only a few people service them. I went onto the PUD Web Site & they listed Brothers as one of only 2 who install & service them. The technician arrived & quickly identified that it was possibly an electrical problem & suggested I call an electrician to verify. If not then we'd new a new water heater. He was correct! An Electrician just came & reconnected the wiring & it's all fixed. Top marks to Brothers Plumbing for quickly getting someone here to help us out. I'll be calling them again in the future if I require a plumber. read more

We had a Cascadian Water Sytem installed in October of 2020. The portion of the system that purifies the bacteria failed within two months. Wes (who sold us the system) said it was under warranty and took the light to get a replacement. 9 months and 6 calls to Brothers Plumbers later and he has yet to return a call let alone replace the part. Every time we call, the woman who answers the phone says the owner is unavailable to talk to but that Wes will call us. I could have had a baby in the time we've waited for Wes' call. So many reasons not to use these guys. First, I had a question with the bill (charged about three hours when they were here for maybe an hour and a half); I have tried to call twice about it, and each time they got the invoice number and said, "Let us look into it and call you back". Never called back, either time. Second, they don't seem terribly competent; we have four houses, some old, some newer, so have had several plumbers doing work for us. Never has any been so uncertain as these guys by something so simple as copper pipes. It was like they'd never seen them before. Also, we are planning a relatively small remodel, and these guys provided the highest estimate by far. Never use them again. read more

It has been almost three weeks and several phone calls to Brothers Plumbing to try to get resolution of a service and billing problem with no response from the management or owners. I am writing this review to let others know that I am unhappy with the service they provided. My hot water tank was leaking and someone from the company came to see if it could be fixed. They determined that the tank could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. They gave me a day a few days later that someone could come out and replace the tank. I requested a morning appointment and an 80 gallon tank and they told me they could do that. On the day of the service the plumber came not in the morning but around 1pm. I had called the office several times that morning and was told he would be at my house soon. I had to change my afternoon around which bothered me. They he told me he did not have the right tank with him and he had to go and get one. I reminded him that I wanted an 80 gallon unmetered tank and he said no problem. The water tank was in the garage and I told him to come inside and get me if he had any problems for the rest of the work. I went out to my garage about 45 minutes later to see what was going on and he was finishing up putting in a 55 gallon tank. I was unhappy and told him so and reminded him that I wanted an 80 gallon tank. He then told me they did not have what I wanted so he put in the 55 gallon tank. I was very unhappy with this and let him know that. I then called Lowe's to find out what this tank would have cost if I bought it from them and I was told that the same brand of 55 gallon tank was $500- 800. The charged me $1306.28 for the tank itself. I called the office and told them that I was very unhappy with the service and told them I did not have what I wanted. Ruby asked me what they could do to make me feel better about what had been done and I requested a 25% discount on the services of that day. She said that she would see what they could do about helping me to feel better about what was done. When the plumber gave me the bill it was for $1958.22 and they gave me a $200.00 discount so I owed $1798.22. He said he was not able to change the bill so I paid it but with protest and I did not sign that all work was performed in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner. He knew what I wanted in a tank and did not talk to me before installing a tank I did not want and he did not come to do the work when they said he would be there. I feel that I was overcharged and no one ever called me back from management to try to address my concerns. I have no recourse but to give them a one-star review for their services that day. read more

I had Brothers Plumbing replace an above ground water spigot. It worked fine until several months later a crack in the underground plastic pipe appeared and water came to the surface. I called Brothers Plumbing to repair it. They did after a long wait. Months later, the 3 phase electrical line that supplies power to my house had an open on one phase. I requested Brothers Plumbing to come dig up the area under the water spigot so a splice could be applied to the wiring. Brothers Plumbing offered to charge me $60 an hour to dig access to the wires. I feel they nicked the insulation and electrolysis caused the damage to the wiring that happened directly under the water spigot. My advice is steer clear of a company that doesn't back the quality of their work! read more

So sad that my first review has to be a negative one, but you need to know what you're getting into if you call these guys! The image that comes to my mind these days when I see a Brother's Plumbing van on the road is not longer, "help is on the way!", but "there's another shark patrolling for blood in the water!" We were out of town and asked a friend to call us a plumber for a SMALL leak under the kitchen sink. (How I wish we would have just put a pan under it!) $234.61 later our small leak was fixed--as we found out on our return with cheap-o parts, and for some reason we also needed a new kitchen strainer baskets to finish it all off. $234.61, really?? All that for a little leak? These guys seriously need some competition! Anyway, if possible, look elsewhere for your help with plumbing needs or just keep in mind that you are about to feed sharks when dealing with them! read more

I called Brothers 2 weeks ago to get a bid. Made it very easy for them by emailing the home inspectors report. They said because of the holiday they were backed up. Ok no problem, I called again a week later, still please give us more time. I called 2 days ago and they lost my home inspection report. So I resent and still haven't heard back. I have used Brother's Plumbing for the past 7 years and have been very happy with their prompt and professional service.

Six days without water and nearly $3,000.00 to replace a septic pump. This does not include the cost to stay at a hotel or to pump out the septic tank. Add another $2,000.00. Even after talking to ROGER (one of the owners) at length and explaining in great detail how badly they performed, etc. etc. Now, ten days later he has not bothered to call me back with any sort of explanation. In retrospect, the call with ROGER had a very patronizing overtone to it. That is what prompted me to write this. So clearly they will listen, and do nothing. What I will say is to strongly suggest you find another plumbing company. If I could have I would have given them NO stars. For you crooked ROGER. "You can shear the sheep many times. I am a General Contractor and hired Brothers Plumbing for a renovation project in Port Townsend. They installed 100 showers and 50 Jacuzzi tubs in phases. I was very impressed by the overall professionalism and dedication to keeping my project on schedule even when the schedule was incredibly difficult to maintain. Roger, one of the owners, had a "whatever it takes" kind of attitude throughout the job and the final outcome was absolutely perfect!!
