Items were supposed to be dropped at two locations; a storage facility for when my senior's apartment would be ready for occupancy and a few other items to an auction house, items that I would not be able to keep once in a smaller space. I had to leave out of province for two months to care for another elderly relative. By the time I returned and viewed the statement from the auction house, I saw that Eager Beavers were a bit too eager and disposed of many wrong items! I am not impressed at all. And to top it off, I was charged an extra $1500. over my initial quote, $1000 of which was spent for 4 guys to sit in a truck while they were stuck in traffic. Furious, does not adequately convey my feelings.

I told then when I got the estimate that I requested them to pack up everything in the kitchen but they brought absolutely no packing materials so I had to supply. I had a price per hour agreed with the owner, Alex. The move should have taken maybe 5 hours, as it was him and 2 other guys, who couldn't speak or understand english by the way. Then when we were at the unloading location, he had brough more guys, and it didn't make a difference. All these baffoons just stood around, while Alex yelled at them repeatedly, thew all my stuff around, had stuff unsupervised outside at both the move out and move in. No one would listen to me, even as I was screaming at them. For the furniture I still have, it has scratch marks, chips, and even paint marks?? As for other furniture, all I can say is, you have to really bash the heck out of a metal bed frame, and wrought iron to in order for them to be unusable. And there were more pieces that were broken beyond fixing. Yup, I had to go furniture shopping. And, each box I opened, it was a surprise if something was found that wasn't broken. The creme de la creme was at the end, he was writing on an invoice, that he refused to even let me take a picture of and upped the hourly charge significantly. I paid him what was owed plus a little more in order to be able to leave as he and his baffoons had me encircled, and I was alone. I finally got away, and I did report this company, but unfortunately, nothing was done. Hope this makes you think twice about your decsion on hiring this mover.

Just choose the number of rooms you have, how long you need them. I opted for the one week option, and added a wardrobe box. The boxes are a very strong & sturdy plastic, and arrive super clean. All I can say is, for less than $200 you can have the boxes delivered to your home, pack up your entire place without hassle of finding cardboard boxes and taping them up, stack the frog boxes neatly in a truck, and be on your way. I seriously don't know why anyone would bother with cardboard.
