Sid was our contact and directly supervised the work. He gave an accurate ballpark quote and was very thorough in explaining the issues and kept us up to date on the progress of work via text messages, periodic calls, and photos. Unfortunately, the job opened up some major surprises with the drain tile around the foundation as well as rotted floor structure around the chimney chase that was dumping water into the basement due to water infiltration. Sid's crew did an excellent job repairing the rotted structure in the basement that had rotted away. While this was a very expensive repair, however I highly recommend Sid and his guys. They do quality work and get it done quick. They also had good recommendations for other contractors that we need to complete the exterior work related to the structural issues (see pic below). Sid will also work with you (within reason) if you have minor changes to the work being done. We had a separate plumber (per Sid's recommendation) add rough-in plumbing for a future bathroom after J&J broke up sections of the concrete floor to replace the weeping tile. It made sense and Sid worked with us on that. Five stars.

I discovered high radon levels in my basement after using first alert carbon traps. To separate…read moretesting cycles showed my level with sitting at an eight prior to mitigation. My initial Research into radon companies on Google leaned me towards clean air so I set up the free consult. Seems to be a small family outfit and my first appointment had to get cancelled because of a sick child which is perfectly understandable. The next day was a blizzard but my evaluator Kathleen was a super trooper and made it out anyways despite the snow. She had the assessment wrapped up in under 20 minutes and I was able to get a estimate in hand less than an hour later through email. She was also able to recommend me a great plumbing service g&m which I used to voluntarily replace my sump pump prior to sealing the sump pump system off. Since my concrete basement slab did not have any major cracks or fissures exposing gravel beneath the system would only require ceiling off the sump well and installation of an exhaust system. Quoted price came in around $900. Installation of the mitigation system was painless on my end. Installer was on site maybe 2 hours. He did track some mud in the house so if it is a wet day I'd keep a keen eye on shoe removal or ask them to use booties if they have them. Work was good however with snug fit and everything looked clean and professional inside and outside of the home. After clean air did their installation they left behind a electronic sampling station. Within the first 13 hours my radon level had dropped from 8 to .8 which seemed unrealistic to me. On further investigation I found that this is an obtainable goal through a combination of the large gauge pipe that they used to exhaust and the short half-life of radon. I also conducted my own post mitigation testing with another round of first alert carbon traps 2 weeks later and confirmed the level at .8 All in all total cost came in under my expected budget oh, and I'm very satisfied with the results and knowledge that my kids aren't rolling the dice on lung cancer when playing in my basement. I enjoy working with small family businesses and would recommend these guys.

The pain wasnt worth it since they never came to do their job. Now my 2 year old and my spouse and I dont have rooms, and our living room is stacked full of furniture. They blocked my Facebook after tagging them in the aftermath of their incompetence, probably hoping to hide it. Imagine blocking someone who gave your company a bad review because you refused to come the day you WERE SUPPOSED TO COME to do your job. NEVER COME HERE theyll probably just not even show up. Now us and our toddler have to sleep together in a cramped living room stacked with furniture from 4 different rooms. This place is pathetic and cant even own up to something they called "a mistake".
