We hired this place to do a kitchen remodel and replace our floors. What was supposed to be a 2…read moreweek job took 4 months to complete. 6 months after the job was complete we contacted Richard Shaw (Chuck), the owner and guy we dealt with the entire time, and let him know the floor was breaking, cracking, bowing. The transitions were cracked, some were coming off of the floor. Cracks in the floor were found to be glued to be repaired. After a couple of months and many excuses later he finally came out and made a poor attempt to fix one part of the floor. He said he had to order more flooring and come back out. Even joking that we didn't feel like he would come back. Again after many texts messages and excuses, we finally requested a refund for the floor so we could have someone fix them correctly. We were ignored. He never returned any messages and left us with no other choice but to file a civil suit. We were trying to be patient. After 9 months of nonsense we had enough. We filed, showed up to court and were told they couldn't serve carolina home remodel. The physical address doesn't match the company apparently. So we are now left with a busted up floor that we spent thousands of dollars on and its been just over a year. We will continue to pursue legal action.

Job started, In at 9 and leave at 11, in at 10 leave at 2, no show 2days. At the end of the 10th work day (Uri) and 33 hrs. on job I called super for help (Omar). After the 13th day I gave up on the idea of bath b and I called the main office for help (Bryan & Christina) and asked please come out and just look at the job being done here and tell me if this is the quality of work you represent. Omar finally came out and said I can't believe this and this will have to be redone. They were having trouble scheduling and we had our spring vacation coming up so we gave them the keys to the house and said we will be back on this day it's all yours. Returned home Sunday afternoon at 4 (one week on vaca and 6 weeks after job start) and Troy is loading up his tools. The main room is 90% and at this point I'm happy with that but I walked into the bath and nothing had been done there to finish, the same as (Uri) left it, missing base board molding, unfinished drywall.
