We need seasoning beyond salt and pepper if we are going to call this place California-inspired. Service-wise....it's Germany, not California. Even cash only joints here tend to post a sign somewhere to alert you in case you don't know. We found ourselves scrambling due to this policy. Like the wolf. A squirrel wolf, if you like. But who wants to pay €4 for a coffee and €7 for a sandwich? Get your Hände hoch if you said, "ICH NICHT!" because nor do I. Squirrel wolves often forget to go to the ATM, so we much prefer, say, €3 for a sandwich, and for that reason do I so love coming to this little place. Also, because their Bavarian accents are charming. And if you order one of their nifty salads to eat there, they will put it into a huge bowl with real utensils for you to eat at one of their standing tables. And because after 6PM, most everything is half off (excepting salads, beers, juices, and candy bars). So if your "Mouth is alive with juices like wine," I recommend you bring your hunger to the Wolf.

Love every panini they make!…read more This place has a few standard paninis that they have every day/week, but they also change a few up - so you never know what they're going to come up with! There is not one panini which is over 6 euro, so it should fit each person's budget for lunch. The sizes of the paninis depends on what kind you want, but my personal favorite is the pastrami - which they've had more often than not recently. However, the eggplant and sun dried tomato panini is super delicious as well (but they don't have it all the time). The reason I did not give this place a perfect score, was because the quality of the paninis can vary. Most of the time, the paninis are up to par, although sometimes I feel like they skimp on the fillings.

I can't, however, give Luiginos 5 stars because the panini isn't going to blow your mind, but it will at least leave you happy :)
