I bought the car off the show room floor in 2004 and have followed every MAJOR maintenance recommendation for 21 years! But the MECHANIC decides not to do this service. He "said" he installed the new plugs and wires, yet my car was still shuddering when you put it in drive, "oh that means you also need a new coil" he stated he would get it and install for me, next day, same problem, "oh I need better spark plugs" WOW! I go and purchase them at the Auto Zone 3 miles away, he installs. I P/u car next day, smooth sounding engine, so I drive away. God is gracious, as I drive to my next appointment, "NO BRAKES, and I smell metal burning!?" The transmission "tachometer gage(?)" is revving up and hanging while the car whines and stalls. I get the car home and will now have to get it to a Transmission shop. Ive never had these above stated or ANY MAJOR issues with my 21 years, well maintained high mileage car, NEVER! But on the last couple of time, I noticed that my oil change light was coming on sooner than it should. My fiancé was having the same experience. We decided to have it checked out by a third party mechanic and they informed us that the oil cap had been put on to tight for both vehicles. When I called National Quick Lube they informed me that the car was leaking oil before that and did not tell me this was happening. I am not understanding how that could be for both vehicles when we never had an issue before this last oil change. And that seems to be a bit coincidental that both vehicles would have the same issue after coming to your shop. I was a loyal customer, but no more.

I've never been to a jiffy lube, always went to a dealership, but I was tired of dealerships making me wait two hours for an oil change to get done. I wasn't aware of the pricing and that's my fault. Full synthetic oil change is gonna run up at least $100 here. Didn't expect to break the wallet like that. But you know what?
