We started seeing Dr. Gonzales after we switched medical insurances. The first time I called the practice to schedule an appointment as a new patient, the front desk said they could get me in in two day- okay, great! About an hour later, I got a call back and they offered me a cancelled spot for the next morning! Horrible experience. My family was absolutely mistreated. VERY very rude woman. Ms. Greer was unbelievably unprofessional, and insulting. She continued to speak over my mothe talking, and not letting my mother finish sentences. She was very judgmental towards my brothers homeschooling, and made multiple rude comments about my 7 month pregnant sister, asking if the baby's father was around.. Unbelievable behavior for a "professional Dr. / owner". My brother was scheduled for a well check and changed the appointment herself to a consultation because my mother had "too many" questions about my brothers well being, making it a consultation instead. Maybe it took too much time for her..? She didn't have access to some of his records which was very odd considering it was his primary care office. I could not describe a more unfortunate place to waste 2 hours. We will not be returning. Not even sure if we can pursue further action. Update**** The office manager called my mother to "confront" her about my review. No where did I post names or anything so they must know their level of unprofessionalism was wrong to have singled her out. We also received a retaliation letter. I have to lay this all out here because I'll feel like I'm simply giving a quick glance at the type of practice this is; based purely on their actions and messaging. This is a factual relay of my conversations and not based at all on opinion. I now know this....our beloved and trusted family pediatrician opened his own practice. He was with them for years and has worked with our children through ADHD diagnosis, Vanderbilt tests, and honored our wishes to not medicate our child. He also is a compassionate and humorous soul that our youngest, who is a tomboy totally opens up to. We adore him and are so lucky to have found him!! Here's how I found out: After what would be our final appointment here - while at the desk - I asked to set our next appointment. I was informed Dr. Lazatin wouldn't be there any longer. I asked where he would be and the receptionist replied that she didn't know. But they had other doctors that would be seeing his patients. I asked when they would be notifying his patients on where he was going - they replied, a letter will go out soon. Hmmm. I then called after not receiving any letter, and thought I would ask for an appointment with him - who knows maybe be was staying? Again, was informed that he left the practice and that there are doctors taking his patients on. I asked if they would be notifying his patients and they said they thought so after the New Year. I searched for him and found him and low and behold his new practice is just 12 miles away in Wheat Ridge. We are now with him there and will happily drive to him. Not impressed with how this transition was handled, at all, but you can be the judge of that. I take my kids to Dr Lazatin. He is wonderful. He makes kids feels welcomes and talks to them in language they will understand. My kiddos and myself love his personality. He is a very funny guy! He certainly cares for children! I would definitely recommend this office and Dr Lazatin! read more

I stand corrected, Sara Wilson is actually a PNP. But I had to come back to mention that when she was listening to my daughters heart at an appointment- she mentioned that she heard a murmur. She referred us to Childrens Hospital, and I am so thankful that she did. No one else had ever listened close enough to catch it before. Turned out, my daughter has mitral valve prolapse. Cardiologist at Children's Hospital commended her for catching it before it progressed. Great medical team at Broomfield Pediatrics! read more

In general the doctors here are great, though the good ones some to have a high turnover. My only bad experience has been with Dr. Greer who I find ignores the kids and talks to the parents (for example asking parents directly how the child feels or where they hurt rather than addressing the child). read more

After my husband and I completed the exhaustively thorough research that I imagine only crazy first-time parents undertake, Dr. Lance Lazatin was at the top of our list. After interviewing him and our second-favorite choice, we were delighted to select "Dr. Lance" as our daughter's pediatrician. The office building is quaint and seems a bit older, but the exam rooms are bright and fun and knowing what we know now, we'd follow Dr. Lance if he started practicing at a hole in the wall. The guy is sharp, funny, thorough, insightful, and has a great way of relating both with kids and with adults. He always takes the time to address all the questions we have accumulated since the last visit (did I mention we're new at this and a bit neurotic?), and he has been quickly available via phone or email when we have something pressing to ask about. We have been taking our children to Dr Gene Gonzales, MD for approximately 2 and a half years. We have been very pleased with Dr. Gonzales. She is VERY thorough and she is an amazing pediatrician! She asks a lot of questions and listens to all of our concerns. We know she won't ever miss anything little. In fact we took our son in when he had the flu last winter. She looked him over and gave us a detailed list of what we would need to do in order to make sure he did not have to be admitted to the hospital. She left the room and shut the door and at that moment our son let out a terrible cough. She immediately walked back in the room because she heard what the cough sounded like and told us he also had croup. If she was not attentive like she is she would not have heard my son's cough from outside the room and we wouldn't have known he had croup which could have been a bad situation. It is important for me to tell you that she is not an "In and Out" kind of doctor. When I say thorough I mean she takes her time with her patients. We will often be there for about an hour and a half. For me, I don't mind at all. My children are my #1 priority and I am more than fine with the amount of time she spends with us. We also really like the nurse she has working with her on a regular basis. The front office is always running smoothly. We have never had any issues with making appointments or billing. They all seem to be very efficient. However my daughter was sick with a really bad cold just recently. We called and could not get an early appointment with Dr. Gonzales so we opted to see another available doctor instead. My husband took her in so I am not sure of the doctors name but he said that she was a bit condescending and that he was not very impressed with her. I say this because I am not sure of the other doctors at the practice. My son loves going to see Dr. Gonzales! This says a lot;-) read more

We have taken our children to Dr. Pham for about 4 years now, he is am amazing doctor, he always takes his time with our kids and never misses a thing. Any time an urgent matter has arose, we have been able to get in right away. When my youngest son was born, Dr. Pham was away and we saw Dr. Gonzales in the hospital and for our first follow up visit, she was also very thorough and spent plenty of time with us, our son had some jaundice issues that she addressed very well. I am very happy to have this office for our children. read more

Michelle, the receptionist called me a day before my appointment and gave me the address since I have never been to this place before because I thought my appointment was at the north campus children's hospital. When I looked up the address I noticed Michelle gave me the wrong address and so I was late because I had to call the children's hospital to ask for the address to where my daughters appointment was. When I got there I told the receptionist (Michelle) that when they called me yesterday, they gave me the wrong address and she rudely replied "no! That was me that called and I did not give you the wrong address." She had no sympathy at all and I don't want to return to a place with people like her there. I will find a different location to take my daughter to. read more

I have some a few reviews on them I'm going with them for two years I am a working mom that is on call all the time and they don't work with your schedule very well don't turn you down if you have a family emergency and tell you that you can't see no more I need to let other parents know that they don't work on your schedule you have to work on the schedule because they're more important than you are and your children they act like they care but they don't that's my personal opinion when your mothers dying in the hospital and he had to cancel your appointments go to your appointments because they'll tell you that you can't see him read more

The office is dated and the lady in the reception is rude both on the phone and in person. We got no help whatsoever when it came to the questions we had since our little boys moved here from overseas and was asking what we needed to bring translated in order for them to make in appointment for us (we are American but lived abroad). I wanted a new appointment to have them evaluate diary allergy, i.e. start a new evaluation. She claimed we had to have our entire chart translated so they could see proof of it. I ended up just calling up Cornerstone pediatrics (Louisville) and they had no issues with foreign med charts and were so friendly and put us in contact with a specialist who could do a new evaluation of allergy. I will never step foot in this place again. I actually never ended up seeing an actual doctor at this place since the front desk was so rude. read more

Took my children in for a well child exam, and felt like it was a judgement session. They asked my kids a lot of questions and typed everything they responded with into their files. My children are 8 and 13, so we've had our fair share of well child check ups. We went to a pediatrician down in South Denver area for many years and they never grilled my kids like this place. read more

Tried to drop of my child's medical records (a pre-requisite before they'll even consider accepting you as a new patient), but they are closed for an hour-and-a-half (1.5 hours!) for lunch. I have a small window where I can leave work and run errands. There were two other people with the same idea, and some poor guy even left his specimens in a paper bag outside their door. I could hear people in the office talking, but no one responded to repeated knocking. Attempted to call, but they forward their phones to an answering service. (These people take their lunch breaks quite seriously!) It's fine to close for lunch, but maybe leave a receptionist on duty who can take shipments and attend to minor office tasks, or at least have a mail slot on the door. Will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

We have been seeing Dr. Nancy Greer, and I must say that the doctor and the office staff are so helpful, cooperative, and understanding. The worst medical office I have ever had to deal with in my life. The front office staff is rude, unprofessional and the most unhelpful people I've ever encountered. I met with one doctor one time, and while the care was adequate I wouldn't say there was much bedside manner. But I refuse to deal with the front office staff and the insane hoops that you have to jump through to get an appointment. After asking local friends about their favorite pediatric offices I heard an earful about Broomfield Pediatrics and couldn't find one satisfied customer. That pretty much tells me all I need to know. I take my 2 year old daughter here, and am now taking my infant. We see Dr. Pham, and we absolutely love him. He takes the time to explain things and listen to our concerns. We never feel rushed. My kids are very comfortable with him. Because he also practices internal medicine, my husband has seen him for sickness. We are almost always seen by nurse Alison, and she is wonderful as well! She always remembers our family, and has really taken the time to get to know us. We have had great experiences with the front desk staff as they have been very accommodating through several insurance changes. so far, I love this place. The front desk is always friendly and Dr. Phan their new dr is super nice and spends plenty of time going over any concerns I may have. The only annoying thing is yes, they do require medical records upfront before seeing the kids but I understand they need to know the medical history. Unfortunately, our previous providers take FOREVER to send them over. One even told me, by law, they have 30 days to send it over. As if, faxing over some documents take 30 days! I was recommended to come here by tons of people and I"m glad I tried them. read more

Would not recommend taking your child here. My sons doctor was Dr. Greer. She is a horrible doctor. Made us feel like our son was just another paycheck, and not a human being. She is not in the least bit kid friendly. Never greeted my son when she came into the room for an appointment. She never reviewed his chart when she saw him. My son had the same health problem for 3 months straight, and every time we took him in I had to explain when it first started and had to keep repeating information over and over again. It felt like we were seeing her for a new problem every time, and not an existing one. read more

Dr. Lannigan was amazing. She left the practice, however, and the office did not notify me. The new dr, Dr. Pham, is terrible. He didn't listen to me at all as a patient and did nothing but ignore what I had to say and push Lexapro on me, over and over again. It's a good thing my oncologist warned me that Lexapro would make my Tamoxifen not work because that is the drug that is keeping my breast cancer from returning. In the future, Dr. Pham should pay a little more attention to his patient and do without the kickbacks from Lexapro. Worst experience with a doctor EVER. read more

I take my 2.5 year old son here to see Dr. Pham. He is a wonderful Doctor and in no way should this review reflect poorly on him. We just had a baby on Saturday who's bilirubin levels have been increasing daily. We were told Monday, when we left the hospital, to make an appointment to have his blood drawn again for a recheck the next day. Unfortunately Dr. Pham was unavailable so we made an appointment with Dr. Greer. My husband took him in so I could get a little more rest. When he came home he said the Dr didn't do the blood test. She felt that he looked fine and healthy. I called to tell them he needed his blood drawn and the nurse returned my call saying that it is in the doctors discretion whether to take the blood or not and she thought he looked healthy. I wasn't satisfied with that answer so I called Labor and Delivery and they told us to just come to their labs. His bilirubin levels raised in from 17.6 to 18.2 in the 24 hours, and about 9 since birth. So obviously Dr Greer's assessment was incorrect. When it comes to the health and safety of my kids, this is a very serious issue to me. It could be nothing or it could everything. More importantly its something we need to keep an eye on. Unfortunately, just by looking at my son you can't determine whether his bilirubin levels are fine and I find it completely idiotic for someone to come to that conclusion. Unless you can see Dr. Pham I suggest going elsewhere. read more

TERRIBLE OFFICE PRACTICE! The doctors may be good doctors, but the way this place is run is horrible. The front desk took 2 weeks to enter our new patient info. In that time one of my 3 small children needed medical attention and when I called for an appointment they insisted she wasn't a patient of theirs. They finally found the paperwork sitting in a file. They take an hour and a half lunch every day and do not answer the phone. They have an automated answering service you have to get through no matter what time you call, which is very annoying. Many times since when I call for advice or a sick appointment I am put through 20 questions, I have to give all our contact info every time, and explain the child's illness at least 3 times. Then I am told a nurse will call me back, this sometimes takes hours, then the nurse calls and just says "what's up?" and I have to start all over again. Then if I get an appointment, when I come in the attending nurse doesn't know why we are there, I have to explain yet again, and then when the doctor comes in I have to explain for the millionth time. It is not just confirming the illness from "the horse's mouth". They actually don't know anything, and one of the doctors told me they just don't have time to read the chart and it's easier for them if I just repeat myself. If that wasn't bad enough, half the time my children are misdiagnosed because of a lack of communication and attention to thier medical history. First it's a diaper rash, then it's constipation, then it's perineal strep, but only after I go online and look up the symptoms and then suggest testing them for what I think it is. Twice I have just gone to Childrens Hospital Colorado North Campus just because it is a much more pleasant and intelligent experience for me and my children. I can't stand that they don't look at our information, they just rely on me to provide them with everything, and then they make it seem like I'm being difficult when I question the way they do things. Finally, as a last insult to injury, my doorbell rang just as I was putting the baby down for his nap, it was the mailman with a certified letter from Broomfield Pediatrics informing me that they no longer want to be my provider. WOW! So they'd rather be lazy and selfish and incompitent than take a good look at the way they are running things and change their bad habits. Pretty sad, but the truth is I already gave up on them and found a great office nearby, Denver Pediatrics in Thornton http://www.denverpeds.com/ The receptionist answered the phone right away, said they don't have an automated answering service, they don't close the office for lunch, they have same day sick appointments and you don't have to answer 20 questions about the illness with the receptionist or have to be called back by a nurse to say it all over again, and when you go in for your appointment the doctor has reviewed your chart and knows exactly why you are there and gets to business solving the problem instead of putting the parent through another interrogation. I understand wanting to clarify things, get more details, etc. of course, I simply want to be treated with respect. I am doing my job as the mom, and I expect the pediatrician to do the job of doctoring and the office to do the job of keeping records and information. read more
