Soap smells nice. That's what I find on the few times I've actually used a bar of soap, the seem to have been moved to the annals of time along with film cameras and tube televisions.
Broom Cottage is a small family run business which frequents markets across the north, including St George's on a Saturday. They make a range of natural soaps, creams and confusingly jams and chutneys. I don't know exactly what the link is but fair enough.
The business has been running for four years and specialises in making beeswax soaps (often higher quality and designed for people who have allergies to animal fats or silly vegans).
The standard beeswax soap on offer is very smooth and silky. I used it to massage my hands clean on one occasion when my girlfriend had left it beside the sink and I was as impressed as one can be with soap. It smelt flowery, akin to honey and left my hands a smooth as a baby's posterior.
They also do little giftpacks and boxes so it's the sort of thing a mother would love on her birthday or mother's day for that matter. read more
