My family were Kroger regulars when I was growing up as it was low cost, no frills, straight groceries and nothing else except school supplies. This location has a Starbucks inside, deli, bakery, sushi bar, specialty alcohols, clothing (with their own clothing line), an extended book and magazine selection and an pharmacy. They have a huge variety of everything! It was amazing. Even their own gas station out front. HUGE parking lot. Checkout was a breeze. I could have spent hours in here wandering around and appreciating this store. Let me tell you, it was so clean and well organized inside. Let me tell you fresh does not smell how that store smells. I have worked for a meat market before and it never smelled like that. The meat bundles are a joke while in the store I crunched the numbers and if you were to buy a bundle it was only a few dollars cheaper and regular price meat was about the same as Walmart. So in short dirty and smelly. Not worth the time.

The atmosphere was pleasant, kind, respectful and welcoming. The efficiency and product knowledge was outstanding, and so was their customer service both on the phone and in person. Kenethia and her coworker went above and beyond for me by doing the due diligence required to ensure that my prescription was properly transferred, filled, insured and delivered in a timely manner. They even dialogued with the other pharmacy which was unable to fill my prescription despite a two week waiting period due to unresolved insurance issues. In only one afternoon, Kenethia and her coworker made the impossible possible. They were one of the only locations that had my monitor. Wow! Within the hour, I had my prescription filled, without standing in line for 10-15 minutes. Fabulous!!!Kudos!!! Five Stars!!! I will make this my permanent pharmacy.

I stopped in to check this place out because I had forgotten some of my fruit from home. Now I am a little pissed we don't have one of these grocery stores here in Birmingham. It really isn't fair. This place is like a baby Costco without the membership fee and a Publix/Winn Dixie all rolled into one. Huge grocery store. At least, huge for me. The produce section is nice and I found some banana leaves. I immediately started thinking of things I could steam with banana leaves. I didn't get any because I was going to be in town for a few more days, but now I am starting to wonder if I can find those here at an Asian market. The packed meat section, a meat lovers dream. They have single packages and boxes of lots of different meats. I saw lots of large single packages of chicken wings for like 2 bucks only. Anyway, I won't ramble on, but if I lived in that particular area of Shreveport, this would definitely be my grocery store.
