I've been visiting Holiday for a while now,and I always stop by Brooklyn Best. The pizza is really good and I love a good salad. They make the salad just the way you want, I prefer more turkey and they were very accommodating. The people there are so nice even when they are super busy. Great spot! read more

I would normally wait for a second try but I've decided to go with my first experience here. I had a lg pepperoni delivered to the Backyard Tavern. It was so overcooked I had to force eating half of it and the other half of the burnt disaster sits at home while I wait for a bar bbq to heat up and hopefully enjoy a meal after two weeks with the flu and very hungry. Wish their customer service was as good as their pizza. They deliver to the front of my neighborhood but not the back where I live so I drive to pick it up. Was told 30 min when I placed my order, walked in to pay and was told it would be ten more minutes and that they would bring it out. Sat in my car. For twenty more minutes. Went inside to inquire again and the girl told me it was in the oven. Guy finally brought out my pizzas but not the two liter, said he would go grab it. Asked if he would throw in some cannolis for the wait and he laughed and said NO. Had you told me an hour when I placed my order I would have arrived at an hour. They're always fresh and fabulous I love them! Other than the garlic knots, don't waste your time. We have been coming here for a while but now the last few orders my wings have been BONE dry and they smell like old oil! They need to change the oil if it smells it's old and nasty. Wow, when you pick up a beautiful looking pie, it is really a bummer to be disappointed. They nailed the crust perfectly, which is the toughest part! There was no overly aromatic smell from the pizza, that makes you burn the top of your mouth, as you are so eager to scarf down the pie. Group consensus: perfect thin well done crust. The sauce was delicious, but very difficult to find, not even close to covering the pie. The toppings, were all sliced paper thin ( literally) pepporoni, onions, sausage, peppers & minimal cheese! Of the toppings, the only outstanding flavor we got was the black olives. We had also gotten garlic knots, which looked & smelled good, but we did not eat, as we needed to go eat. Our dinner had all the potential & for a few cents savings by the store they ruined our dinner. The price was not cheap, fairly standard for area....very dissapointed. What's a girl to do? I recently moved to a new part of town although my favorite pizza place is nearby we gave Brooklynn best a shot. I found it to be underwhelming. I chose a chicken Parmesan that came with a salad and pasta. The pasta was rather gummy and Their red sauce was too better for my liking. My husband got a pizza which he enjoyed. Although their dresset options were limited, the cannolis were a perfect finish and I like that it included 3 in an order. My new "go to" pizza place. Small family type place, spotless clean. NY style pizza. I asked for them to make slightly well done, and it was perfect. Tons of cheese, sauce, toppings and all quality. Crust was perfection. Med-Thin, crispy but just enough doughy inside. X-large was HUGE. I'm a big guy with a healthy appetite and I'll easily get three meals from an x-l. I've had pizza many of times up in NY. This is not NY style pizza when it comes to flavor. So this place is not far from where I live. Free garlic knots with Yelp check in and purchase. Was quick and staff was friendly. For me that's where the positives stop though. Pizza was really lacking flavor. Not sure how it is possible that there wasn't a strong sauce, cheese and/or crust flavor. Just extremely bland. I need to try something else here. I'm not yet turned off by this place. Brooklyn Best is my old standby. I order delivery from here at least once or twice a week. I wish they had online ordering but the ordering process over the phone is pretty efficient. They have a lady taking orders who does a very good job. The chicken quesadillas are my favorite and they are the same every time. In fact all the food I've tried is consistently the same and good. My kids enjoy the chicken tenders and the mozzarella sticks. Apart from quesadillas I enjoy their Greek salad, gyros, and garlic parm wings. I can't comment too much on the Pizza and its style as I've only had it once or twice and i'm not a pizza connoisseur. In the context of delivered food I haven't come across anyone better in the area. Keep up the good work. read more

Apparently, Brooklyns is under new ownership/management so we came at just the right time. I have family that lives in Holiday, so my wife and I went down for a visit. We ordered a pizza and a calzone, everything tasted fresh and delicious!!! They serve all sorts of food, but make sure to try the dessert! The wait staff was super friendly, the inside was recently renovated and had a great "New York" feel. The dining area was nice and spacious, and was kept very clean. My 1st time there. What a screw up. Messed up order totally. Bunch of kids working there answering the phone. Does not confirm order before they cook it. Picked it up. Got home. Grand kids ready to eat some meat lover pizza. Then find it full of veggies. VERY LITTLE MEAT. Kids dont eat veggie PIZZA. Called to tell them. They said oh well. We can credit for next time. WHAT ABOUT TONITE??? MY GRANDKIDS ARE READY TO EAT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! NOT NEXT TIME!! I will not let them remake one now. Because who knows what they put on it next. I want money refunded!
