I decided to take a policy with them because I wanted a clean break from my current company and vehicle. The quote is high imo but things do go up in price. The issue I have is being truthful, no deceit. There was an error on allstates side that $10.07 was to be added to the already quoted and paid price. I emailed Mary Smith, the overseeing agent. She assured me it would be taken care of. Two weeks later, an email arrives to me that I was charged that additional amount. That is not taking care of it for customers. To get a new customer, supposedly we are appreciated. This is how a new customer leaves. Sad. (Update--the next day, I called Allstate central I thought to complain and was told Mary smith is the supervisor there, I wouldn't complain to her then. The person on the phone looked into this and said I was not charged for it, they went in the policy and paid it for me. I also asked about the Drivewise app, how much I could save. I was told up to 30% but will only know when it is time to renew.)
