It's a…read morefood truck that actually has a small seating area inside, you pull-up and park and you can already get the aroma of the grilled pork belly, or chicken. What made this special is that it's cooked to order bringing back wonderful memories of trips to the Philippines. I ordered the grilled pork belly with garlic rice, pork belly so delicious with the marinade and the char from the grill, I also got the chicken insal which is marinated grilled chicken, not only was this delicious, the value was amazing 5 dollars for one leg which included the thigh, and another heaping of the garlic rice. Now the garlic rice was the superstar here, definitely one of my favorite dish's with perfect texture from the rice, and plenty of garlic yet not over powering in eat this with every meal. Can't wait to try other menu items. The owners are awesome, and you can see the love they put into their cooking. If you haven't tried Filipino cuisine and in the area this is your food truck.

Upon entering the lot you will notice a few different food trucks/trailers, this particular spot was right in the center and had a convenient covered patio equipped with fans should you decide to stay and "dine in" while conversing with the very friendly owners. The owners are the ones cooking and serving you, I had a plethora of questions which they were more than happy answering. I ended up ordering the Pancit, Lumpia, Pork Sinigang, Pork Belly Inihaw, Pork BBQ, and Halo Halo which was soo good and refreshing that I forgot to take a picture! Their hours are very limited but I highly recommend giving them a try if you want to try some delicious filipino food! Their hours: Sunday: 11:00AM-2PM Monday-Tuesday: Closed Wednesday-Friday: 3:30PM-7:00PM Saturday: 11:00am-6:00PM *Note, There are specials written on a board by the front entrance that may differ from the board and you can also DoorDash order from them. I decided to write a review on Yelp because I believe out of all the filipino restaurants or bars that served pinoy cuisine this easily ranks in my top 3 but there was little information on other websites.

I came on Wednesday, which is game night! So. Much. Fun!!! It starts at 7pm, and it's not like your typical trivia. You have to come to understand. The food is so good. I ordered the jerk chicken plate from Johnny's and it was fresh and authentic Jamaican food. You won't be disappointed. I've always thought New Orleans needed more food trucks, and this is a thought. There is a small parking lot in front of the food truck lot, and you can also find parking on the street. Added plus, bottomless mimosas for $13+ tax on Sundays!

Came with rice, plantains and greens. The chicken was on the bone and there were lots of little pieces to pick through. I didn't mind but some may. I came because a friend told me about the snowball truck that has dairy free condensed milk! She mistakenly told me he had a nectar flavor so I had my heart set on that. I ended up with an ice cream flavor with dairy free condensed milk. The condensed milk was delicious! The syrup wasn't as sweet and flavorful as I like my snowballs to be. I would definitely go back to try a different flavor. He makes all of his syrups with natural ingredients and said he may try to figure out a nectar flavor. My biggest complaint and the reason for the less than stellar review was the garbage smell that permeated the area. I tried relocating to three different tables to escape it. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. My best guess is a hidden dumpster somewhere. It was awful and hard for me to enjoy my food when there was a smell of garbage. Lots of space to sit, bathrooms and a bar area for drinks. There was also a live band playing music. It was a nice touch.
