Within five minutes, she called me back with the name of a salon in California. They went above and beyond without knowing me. They were honest with me as to what the results would look like if I did it a week ahead of time, even if it meant losing the business. When I do decide to use a tanning salon in New York, this will be the only place I will be calling. This is old school customer service at its best!

My daughter used to go to UES Tan. In August 2024, she told two employees that she was closing her…read moreaccount and her credit card should not be charged further, because she was going back to school, which is out of state. She was assured by the two employees that her credit card would not be charged again. But that's not what happened. Mr. Win Grueber charged my daughter's credit card $65.31 for 11 months beginning in August, 2024 through June , 2025. He billed each month despite seeing no appointments were ever made. I wrote Mr. Grueber in July 2024 hoping to resolve what I thought was a billing error. His response - this was not an billing error. He said my daughter "didn't cancel properly". This despite telling his employees, in person that she was returning to school and was closing her account - and her credit card should not be billed. As employees of UES Tan, if there was anything else to do to close the account, shouldn't his employees have told her? At the very least, as a courtesy. I've spent almost 2 years trying to get my money back from Mr. Win Grueber - for no services rendered. While our credit card company was able to recover some of money he charged, there were four months of charges not recovered. I reached out again to Mr. Grueber in April, 2026 for the 4 months he charged $261.24. His response was - no response. This is a horrible way to treat people. I am sharing this as a cautionary tale to please be aware of your credit card charges with this vendor. The billing name is BLVD UES Tan.

Rosse was so sweet and kind and really worked with my schedule to fit me in. She also made me feel so comfortable! She really took the time to explain everything to me about the process and the after care. The lashes took a little while and my eyes were a little sensitive, but Rosse did an amazing job and the lashes look great. The spray tan was quick, easy, and came out really nice and even. Ive had several spray tans before and know how to care for them before and after. These are my results the day following my tan, after my initial rinse with water. Blotchy, patchy. I would have been better off using self-tanner at home. I reached out to the business owner with photos and she recommended baking soda and lemon juice to address the dark areas. No offer of refund or discount. After $80+ after tip i feel that ive been robbed. If you do go here, id recommend checking your tan very carefully after and asking for help with it before you leave. So you dont end up like me - the day before a professional photo shoot for my business. With this embaressing mess on my hands.
