The ground floor was actually pretty organized this go round but it's really hard to find an employee to assist. One issue is possible because the employees look just like a regular shopper so you are unsure who to ask except the cash register individuals. The escalator going to the second floor was broken, so you will have to walk unless you can get on their elevator. On the second floor they also have self checkout and exchange and return registers. When I was asking an employee a question that was at the exchange/return counter, she was really on edge which I am unsure why. She finally just dismissed me and told me to go to another counter to check out since the self checkout machines cause so many issues. All I needed was an employee code to proceed with taking the locks off. Went up to floor three and the cash register employee that assisted me was so sweet and helpful! Normally I love Zara's for odd and end pieces but this one could work on customer service and working with finding a way to help the layout more shopper friendly.

Knowing the Spanish fashion houses makes beautifully tailored clothes to perfectly fit the European figure, I wouldn't even have to try them on. I called in Luke in the Manchester Arndale after it recently won the MARAS awards for "Best Men's Store" which is an award the shopping centre does every year, and while I certainly don't agree this is even in the top three men's stores in the mall, Hugo Boss surely has to take that #1 spot, it still is a pretty decent store. They did have some nice items other than the shirts which were pretty hideous, and they did have a lot on sale too, making most items at reasonable prices. The staff seemed pretty friendly however when I visited the store it was pretty quiet in terms of customers, in terms of actual noise I did find the music to be a little too loud. Award-Worthy? No. Still, a pretty decent store with a good overall feel apart from certain products and loud music, however. 3*

It is really up to date and i found loads of things i liked and which actually fitted. Its nice to find a larger ladies store for off the peg clothes. The store is down the walkway at the side of kirkgate market which makes it very accessible and smack bang in the middle of town. There isnt a huge selection of clothes but they are always changing so that is good. The store is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. The prices are decent if not on the dear side, but, not too dear.

They have single and double breasted dinner suits, tailcoat jackets, numerous waistcoats, ties and even highland wear finery! You really won't find a better place to kit yourself/your man out in the most exquisite and refined occasion wear, it is the bees knees. Hire prices are really competitive, with lots of helpful add ons, such as a £5 accidental damage waiver and £3 for cufflinks. They also offer the fifth hire outfit free if you are ordering more than four outfits! Nice, right? The staff seem to be keen to help too, which is always nice and reassuring! The next time my boyfriend and I are invited to a wedding or special event I am going to insist that we come here for a fitting, the clothing is just awesome! Their window displays are something else, too, and utterly deserve a mention as well. It generally seems to cater for woman at the upper end up middle aged towards the mature spectrum. It tends to have a hop-potch of semi-fashionable items and casual basics (you will not really find anything high fashion here) at very affordable prices. At times this store can feel a little cramped due to it's layout and it can put you off looking around, more so if you are in a wheelchair or have a pram with you. However, should you decide to look around you'll find that the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Plus for just £10 I got an amazing wool plaid scarf that I wore all winter long last year with no fraying whatsoever. The staff are friendly, possibly too friendly. Maybe they have high targets that they are not meeting because it always seems fairly quiet.

An-X tends to put one size or style out, and holds the rest of the sizes in a separate store room, so if chance happens that you're in An-X and you don't see a size you like in your jacket, jeans or t-shirt of choice, then just holler at one of the sales bods and they'll check if they've got your size in stock. Essentially An-X is a designer clothing store focusing on menswear, whilst also selling footwear for kids, men and women. There's a plethora of brands available, and stock regularly rotates, so there's often new things cropping up all the time. Some of the brands will be familiar to most, such as Nicholas Deakin, Penguin, Firetrap, Carhartt and Converse, but there are also some other brands that I'm not mega familiar with, but when I've had a poke and a scan they're really nice in quality and style. I prefer men's hoodies and have a penchant for men's slogan and character t shirts, so I'm often bobbing in An-X for myself or for boy gifts. I'm quite taken with the Humor range in stock at the moment, and for a while I was lusting after some of the slightly out there Gumball 3000 merchandise they had. Sale season is always the best time to shop at An-X in my opinion, as they slash the prices so low you'd think they were joking. A friend of mine scored a bounty of Junk Food and Chunk t-shirts not so long ago, which on average sell for about £30, and he walked away with his at an average price of a tenner.

I like to come in here to buy ties for my dad oh and cuff links!! The staff are always very nice in here and if you don't really know what to buy they will help you decide. But don't get me wrong they're not pushy with you. It doesn't get very busy in here your lucky to see two customers in at a time. I don't know why this is because all the clothes in here are very well priced.
