I went on the very last night of the final season showing (save for the special Lights Out event)…read moreand at the 11:30 PM time slot. There was no wait and no preambling long speech about rules and such, which I appreciated. Since my friend dropped out last minute, I went alone and had a really fantastic time. If you can go alone, it's wonderful and only increases the tension and heightened surprise around every corner. I've been to many haunted houses and find most of them rather unimpressive or generally not scary at all, but this one managed to get my heart rate up *and* got at least a few jump scares out of me, especially in the first half. It was overall a great thrill ride, especially going in alone, and I really enjoyed the immersion, the commitment of the actors and the detailed, colorful set designs and cool animatronics. There were times I wanted to walk even slower to really take everything in and enjoy it. I spent most of the time laughing with glee and saying to myself "THIS IS DOPE." While the 3D glasses section didn't do much for me (maybe it's just my eyesight, but the effects here looked a bit blurry and not very three-dimensional), that's a minor critique. This haunt is also quite expensive, but in my opinion worth it if you love these kind of immersive experiences, especially of the scary variety. Bonus points for the friendly staff letting me switch my time slot from 7 pm to 11:30 after my friend dropped out with no issue or fuss.

I loved the enthusiasm from all the actors. They were awesome. It was two floors of spooky fun, and tons of jump scares. The 3D Sections was so sick. Loved It! It took about 20min total, which I'm totally fine with. When we got there (Halloween Night), they were running behind which is to be expected. The staff said about 15-20min and took about 20min. You can buy RIP (VIP) tickets to jump the line, but honestly, it went by pretty quick. I think the bad reviews on here are maybe people that shouldn't have gone in the first place. For the caliber of staff and production, it seemed a reasonable price. If you've ever gone to Halloween Horror Nights or the like, this seemed totally on par with those scary events. Loved it and can't wait until next year!

We purchased our tickets online in advance, and got to the site pretty easily. We got on line and read the posted rules before walking into the attraction. The attraction itself is pretty creative, with a few things I haven't seen in other haunted houses. But the quitter counter, which displayed the number of guests who quit in fear, made it seem scarier than it actually was. It was honestly a bit too dark in there to see the costumes/makeup of the actors. The majority of the scares were jump scares.

I have been to a couple of haunted houses and this one takes first place and there is no close second!!! You will get SCARED... regardless to how old/mature you are!!! My boyfriend and I got VIP tickets, and while waiting on the line to check-in, we saw people quitting within like 15 seconds of entering!! The check in process was quick, especially if you have the VIP tickets... I would suggest getting VIP tickets over general admission. This place gets packed, and I could only imagine how it will be as it gets closer to Halloween. This is THE PLACE TO VISIT to get your Halloween festivities started! I do not want to give anything away, but it is interactive; you have to crawl in the dark and do other fun things! I was literally screaming and closing my eyes throughout different parts of the haunted house! MY BOYFRIEND AND I MADE IT!!! ** Some of these negative reviews must be rivals; nobody pulled our hair or spit on us. The only downside was an airhead working where you check-in your bags. LOL.

Re: Blackout. I highly recommend it to EVERYONE…read more I didn't know a lot about Blackout other than what I saw in glimpses on social media over the past few years. I've always loved haunts but I couldn't bring myself to do them anymore. I've been raped and sexually assaulted and the idea of people jumping at me or grabbing me scared the hell out of me. It's not something I thought about, but as someone whose love language is physical touch, it's something I needed to reclaim. I was so proud of my partner for going through with it and the way he described it, I knew I had to go. I bought my ticket yesterday and the anticipation killed me in the best way possible. When I arrived, I checked in with Faith upfront -- she IMMEDIATELY made me feel safe and was such a joy to talk to. And Kris -- I appreciate him so, so much. I knew the questions I was going to be asked before going in so I knew I needed to be honest about my anxiety. I just started taking medication again and although I feel significantly better, I know when I'm off or triggered. His check in was SO reassuring and he instilled that confidence in me that I could do this and be honest with myself if I needed to stop. The actors were everything. I knew I was in safe hands the entire time. Their generosity of vulnerability and control and their ability to read my body and what I needed in the moment was incredible. I was terrified and amused and happy among a shit ton of other feelings, and ultimately, I knew I was safe. And FUCK it felt so, SO good to scream. I'm very grateful for what this experience provided for me. I know I have a lot of healing to do when it comes to trust and understanding physical touch in different types of relationships, but this experience proved to me that it's something I don't have to be afraid of, it is something I need and I can embrace, and if I'm ever afraid, I'm in control. It also made me SO excited for rewrites on my musical, MAXA. My ultimate goal for the piece is to make it accessible to survivors like myself and leave the ending in a way that may not be satisfying for everyone, but at the very least, cathartic. I felt so much relief and dread when I finished it because I was deep in the pits of my depression at the time. Blackout inspired the hell out of me and I can't wait to dive back in. To their company, thank you for everything. I didn't know that this was something I needed and I'm so grateful for the experience. If you're curious about it, I couldn't recommend it more. Go, go, go before they close.

I had high hopes of being scared but I was mostly just freaked out and uncomfortable. I don't want to spoil it for some with too much detail, but the plastic bag over your entire body was more of a panic moment than anything. I really felt like I couldn't breathe for a moment, which yes I guess is scary but not in the way that most want to be scared. My boyfriend and I left feeling kinda gross and swindled. It's so expensive and just for all that, no thanks.

Everyone we encountered who worked there was so nice. Inside Fear Manor was fantastic! So spooky and fun! Lots of jump scares and unexpected things around corners. A creepy girl follows you all the way through which adds to the experience. They also have a very cool swamp effect in one of the rooms that you have to see. It's hard to even explain. You wander from room to room and every one of them is scary and great. The actors are terrific. They even respond to things you say and always stay in character. We didn't have to wait in line very long but even that was enjoyable because there is a creepy DJ playing great music that really sets the mood. An actor even showed up there on a gurney just staring at us while we waited. It was great. All in all we had a wonderful time and will definitely do it again before they close!
